I am 83 years old and was left stranded at Gatwick Airport being told by the airline desk at Turkish Airlines that I was not on the passenger list for my onward flights to Istanbul, Singapore, Perth. Turkish airlines said that as I had booked through a 3rd party, yes, Go to Gate that there was nothing they could do. I had to book into a hotel and pay for a single flight back to Perth through another airline. I had booked business class with Go to Gate but could only afford economy due to Go to Gate. I would avoid Turkish Airlines as they could not care less. Flight details TK1998 5.10pm to Istanbul 15th August 2022. TK0054 to Singapore. TK9308 Perth. Go to Gate on the phone tried to bounce it all back on Turkish Airlines giving reference numbers which did not mean anything. Wrong terminal too at Gatwick it was south not north. The outgoing from Perth to Gatwick 5thJune 2022 was also bad, on arrival in Kuala Lumpur I was told my ongoing flights were not ending up in Gatwick it was Heathrow instead. More expense on my part with a tube strike in London. I had friends meeting me at Gatwick. Case went missing still at Kuala Lumpur. I guess I will have to whistle for any refund. More fool me. Never again. The only travel agent I could recommend is Trail Finders, go to a high street shop if you can, sit the other side of a desk. The whole travel business needs over hauling

I booked 2 airline tickets over 2 years ago, and for a year I have been chasing a refund and getting messed around. Told one thing on one call and get a contradicting story on the next. Waiting time to get through usually over an hour, there is no email or physical address to contact them. They seem to have a set line "your refund is being processed we will get back to you" they NEVER do. I have tried to escalate the complaint there is NEVER anyone available

deserves a 0!!! The absolute WORST customer service. Had to cancel a flight I booked in less than 24hrs. First they tell me is not possible. When I told them that airlines allow cancellation within 24hrs they did not want to refund my full amount. Mariya A was so unclear with her communication and tried to confuse me to get me off the phone. I asked to be transferred and she refused to do so. First call service where you cant be transferred to a supervisor or a different representative. SHADY AS HELL. They should be shut down.

By accident I booked a wrong return date 11 day ahead, you cant change on line like other airlines, I spoke to customer sercice and was promised a call back but never happened. After 24hrsI rang and was on hold for 30 mins whie they checked, said would alter at a cost of £218. I booked with easy Jet for £133. Had to cancel a British Airways fee was £49

PLEASE DONT DO A BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANYY,I booked a ticket and the airlines canceled the flight and they told me the airlines will not refund you and you have open ticket to use it again and after two month I called them to use the ticket they told me we cant do it and call the airlines and I CALLED THE AIRLINES THEY TOLD ME WE ALREADY REFUNDED THE AMOUNT TO THEM CALL THEM AGAIN YOUR PROBLEM IS WITH THEM AND THEY ARE NOT GIVING ME A CLEAR ANSWER AND TRYING TO PLAY WITH ME WITH DIFFERENT WORDS AND LAST TIME I REQUESTED TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER THE AGENT WAS VERY AGGRESIVE TO ME AND HE SUDDENLY SWITCHED OFF THE CALL WHILE I AM TALKING AND THEN HE CALLED ME BACK FOR ONE RING ONLY AND SENT TO ME AN EMAIL THAT THE CALL DROPED AND WE TRIED TO CALL YOU AND YOU DIDNT ANSWER O HE DID THAT ONE RING JUST TO DONT LET ANYONE TELL HIM HE IS WRONG HIS NAME IS DEVASHISH V AND i DONT KNOW HOW THIS COMPANY IS STILL WORKING AND ALL THE PEOPLE HAVE BAD REVIEW AND TAKING THE MONEY FROM THE PEOPLE AND DIDNT BRING IT BACK AND THEY WILL OFCOURSE WILL REPLY TO ME HERE THAT PLEASE CONTACT THE AIRLINES OR CALL US AGAIN TO SUPPORT YOU TO LET THE PEOPLE SEE THAT THEY ARE CUTE BUT IN ALL WAYS I WILL DO MY BEST TO TAKE MY MONEY BACK FROM THEM AND TO BE FAIR

They don't deserve 1 star but will not accept zero. They have to be the worst company ever. Paid for Business class flight April 2020 Malaga to Bangkok YES 2020. They cancelled due to covid and still waiting for refund. Waited 2 hours on telephone to be told they are still waiting for refund from airline. WHAT AFTER 2 YEARS. BTW I PAID GOTOGATE THE MONEY NOT THE AIRLINE ?? I strongly advise anyone booking flights to always book direct as I now do. Too many horror stories from scamming agents.

I purchased a flexible ticket to be able to change my flight at no cost and their phones were down for days before my flight (within 24 hours of flight), which is the only way you were allowed to change your flight. They then told me that they would not honor the flexible ticket after my credit card advised me to just cancel it on their end and it took them 6 months to ever return my calls or multiple emails. Do not use them! No one took responsibility for their phones being down. The hold lines are also hours before you will ever speak to someone. I called them 6 times and was always told someone would get back to me. I will never use them again, they are literally the worst.

If I could give them a zero star, I would do that. I have never dealt with the worst travel agency in my life. The customer service is awfully bad. I have booked the flight through them; it took 4 days to rebook my flight. They don't have an idea how to do! I keep calling them, they are putting me on hold while I was speaking, disconnecting my calls. Now, I am still waiting for my confirmation email more than 4 days. What I hear from them I should wait 24-48hrs and my transaction is pending. Never ever I will use them again. Less learnt. I would not recommend them at all.

Why are we not allowed to give a negative rating? Gotogate is the worst ticketing agency ever. Their customer service is non-existent. They lie to you and their support team is a made up thing. There is no such thing. These people are scammers. Please never book your flight through them. I learned a very expensive lesson from this company. Their call centre people are a bunch of idiots who lie to you incessantly. Disgusting and pathetic!

I've been waiting for a refund since April, they say they have paid me but its not arrived, they don't reply to messages and I've spent hours waiting on the telephone, I called this morning and I was 161 in the que. I've yet to decide if they are incompetent or crooks?

They sell insurance through Cover Genius, which is a fraudulent company that doesn't have a valid phone number to reach out to follow the status of your claims. I filed a claim on May 1st, 2022, it's been 3 months and none has reached out to get my money refunded. I asked GO To Gate for a valid phone number to call Cover Genius and they did not provide me any valid information to solve my problem. My next step is I'll file a claim through the FLORIDA OFFICE OF INSURANCE REGULATION, c/o Department of Financial Services.

Nnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeevvvvvverrrrr book with them!!! i booked a ticket by them and they never confirmed via email with myself. although the money has gone out of my account. I have no where to contact them as theres no provided refference number ive got from them!!!! a bunch of stealers!!!

I used their website to book flight, it was cancelled and I am waiting for refund for five months, per the refund status that Airline refunded the amount to Gogate 10 weeks back and without any progress to refund me, called them multiple times without any action, do use them

I'm not sure why this company is still operating. I had to fight so hard to get a refund from them for flights cancelled due to Covid. Their customer service is practically non-existent! Eventually, I facilitated the refund myself, directly with Ryanair, who paid the money to Gotogate. However, I still had to battle with Gotogate, who claimed they needed to "raise a refund request" with the airline, and that the cost of this would be deducted from my money - this, in spite of the fact that Ryanair had paid them weeks previously and my money was sitting in their account! They are dishonest and fraudulent - please avoid!

Absolutely worst. I booked a flight on Spirit Airlines. GoToGate got my money. They never confirmed with me so I booked with another site and requested my money back. I received a text a few hours before my flight that I had tickets on Spirit. I called Spirit (since GoToGate is absolutely worthless). I found out that GoToGate invented a fake email for me. I found out that they negotiate tickets last minute. I found out that GoToGate received a refund back but I am out $800. This place is not legit.

I wish I could give a zero-star rating for GOTOGATE. They cancelled our flight on March 24, 2022 through an email and when you call their customer service for any update on the refund, you get no explanation and you get rude and impatient people on the phone. I called mid-May and two weeks after and I have been pleasant on the phone both times. They have no way of giving any update on the refund process and expect you to wait for their email only when the refund is on the way. It can apparently take up to more than six months for any update at all. You will have hoped you have never encountered them at all. I am a frequent traveller and this is the worst service I have ever come upon. I am warning everyone, NEVER USE GOTOTGATE FOR ANYTHING!

Myself and my wife booked flights worth £1790 last night. They did not go through in the first credit card transaction due to issues with authorising from the bank but went through second time and were in my pending transactions. I phoned Gotogate today to confirm and was informed the payment had not gone through so I proceeded to book again a few hours ago. Now the payments have gone through twice and I have two bookings. Phoned Gotogate explaining and asking them to cancel the duplicate ones I booked only a few hours ago and told it would cost me £500. This is absolutely crazy, surely there is a "cooling off period" and also do the decent thing and admit they caused confusion and refund us. It's really dodgy customer services. Looking into ways we can escalate this higher but would be eager to have any advice on the situation. Booking reference - GAF225508

Avoid at all cost. Plain bullies and thieves. They refused to return my money, despite having paid in full from Air Canada on my agreed refund. Air Canada didn’t care either of the fact when I told them. It took over one year, legal action on my behalf and countless hours of stress with them telling me they are NOT going to return them at all (they even said that on the phone after I waited for a good 40 minutes in hope I put down the phone). When they were legally forced to return my refund by my lawyers, they charged me double their commission and returned the rest. Ref. L0RDZ8
