My experience echo's many of those described below. Ten working days and no delivery. Tried calling many time for over an hour to speak to their customer services but only received the engaged tone. Needless to say I won't be doing any more business with them.

DO NOT ORDER from this company. I've been waiting one month for delivery and still not received my order. Customer service is non existent offering only vague apologies.

Terrible business, I cant see how they are still trading. Expensive postage costs and 8 days after ordering my pencils still haven't been dispatched. Will never use again.

Good stock. But take way to long to get here. Would be nice if the stock could be shipped from the uk to the uk instead of from the eu. Would have been quicker to travel to their store in London to get the things I ordered instead of 2 weeks + waiting time.

Possibly worst online seller ive dealt with in a while. Item took 24days to arrive. They said that it would take 7-10days to arrive. Never provided tracking details didnt reply to emails. Even 10 days is an excessive delivery time. Looks like the item had been shipped from germany. If items are going to take a long time to deliver sellers should be upfront about this on the website, and the least i'd expect is a proof of despatch.

Almost 5 weeks to deliver, didn't reply to emails to cancel the order after they'd offered too, so it eventually arrived after I'd bought a replacement.

I am very happy to say I’ve received my paints, thank you, although having to wait 4wks due to a lot of stock sitting on a pallet in customs, not the fault of Great Art. Luke in customer services was charming, calm and very helpful every time I phoned to see where my goods were. I couldn’t fault Luke or Great Art and will buy from them again. DK Teignmouth Feb 2022

Great Art Staff Member - Unwelcoming, Unfriendly and Extremely Aggressive Avoid! I ordered some items 'click and collect' by email on 18th March, then, a little concerned I may have left it a few days, I emailed again on the 25th March to say I hadn't forgotten and would be in today. The email was acknowledged. Unfortunately, when I went along this afternoon to collect the items, I had the misfortune to be greeted by an extremely rude member of staff at the shop in Kingsland Road. I said I was there for a collection and said my name; I was told that wasn't sufficient, and was asked what the items were, which I answered. The staff member then asked for an order number, which I had to look through my emails for. They were clearly rather irritated by me and did not hide their impatience. Once I had found the order number, they went off to collect the items and on returning still seemed extremely 'put out', to put it mildly; I asked why they were being impatient with me, when I had emailed to say I would be in today and that I thought I had been considerate in doing so? The staff member merely said 'well, that wasn't me' and told me that the items were put back into stock; they also said the sign on the door said that I should have had my order number ready. I was made to feel as though I was being a nuisance, and that I was in some way causing a disruption. They were not only unwelcoming and unfriendly, they were extremely aggressive. I was rather shocked by their stance towards me. A small point, the emails confirming the collection could have said items will only be held for 24hours... or 'please have your order number ready', nevertheless this does not in any way excuse the behaviour shown towards me this afternoon. I only hope there is some training Great Art can give the person concerned so that nobody else has to spend an afternoon feeling they have been treated badly, and left wondering why, as I have today. What should have been a simple, pleasant transaction was instead deeply unpleasant. By way of contrast, a collection I made earlier in the week from Atlantis was an entirely different experience - charming staff, welcoming and efficient. I know where I'll be going in future.

Hello, I ordered on the 28th of February and still nothing, I tried calling and nothing again. I will be leaving the uk so the order needs to be shipped asap this is mega unprofessional. It said on the website 7 to 10 days for shipping. will the orders ever be sent. I can understand that you might run into some issues but at least send an email to notify the customers because this is really worrying. Thanks

It is dishonest and there is a lack of transparency during a time where the world has an opportunity to become more honest and sincere. I find it distasteful to send me more and more discount offers to my email when clearly this company is not able to fulfil the orders it already has. You're taking people's money based on false information. I've been waiting 3 weeks and still waiting. If you were honest and clarified on your website what is really going on then your customers would be able to make an informed decision on whether to shop with you or elsewhere. Basically our money gets stuck in your system so we cannot shop elsewhere once we have made the payment. You are wasting everyone's time and energy when you could simply be honest and explain the backlog of deliveries stuck because of Brexit and possible slowed by the virus. Why put us through all of these tiresome phone calls, emails etc when you could be honest on your website. Instead you're just making more and more offers to get more and more purchases that you cannot provide. Disappointing, to say the least.

I have been waiting for my order since February 28 and still have not received my order, even though on their website delivery time is from 5 to 8 days. When trying to contact them, no answer to emails or phone calls. Avoid this company, that even though might have a great range of art supplies, struggle to deliver customer service and only cause a headache when trying to sort everything out.

Same review as everyone esle's... Sadly...They have a great big selection but what is the point when they have such a misleading website?! It says they have the items in stock but now waiting for over 2 weeks and the items nowhere to be seen. Apparently it has been dispatched, however the tracking doesn't show anything. They are not replying back for emails for over a week now! I understand that there is a shortage of stock at the moment because of covid but then do not mislead people thinking that you have them and buy from you just to be told you have to wait another 4-5 week in a hope it will arrive... And the fact that they just disappear and not respond is a really bad customer service policy.I got to a point now that i had to order items from elsewhere... Very very disappointing and frustrating situation... Right now i just wish they give me a refund instead of sending the package but since no tracking info or no email responses i can't even do anything...

I have now been waiting coming up three weeks on my materials to arrive with no communication or replies from customer service. From other reviews they seem to cite coronavirus as the reason but i have ordered from many other websites during this and not had such a long wait or been recieving no customer support at all. Do not be fooled by the low prices, support other small businesses who will respect you and your time.

Ordered a single chrome pen on the 13th, asked for a refund/cancellation of the order on the 20th since nothing got dispatched, got an answer on the 21st telling me that they can't cancel because they dispatched it allegedly that day - today is the 24th, and tracking is still not available. Will open a case with Paypal - it's not much money, but just out of principle i'll go after it.

DO NOT buy from this company! It doesn’t matter how many hundreds of pounds you spend, they don’t send you tracking numbers, they don’t answer the phones, they don’t answer emails. You’ll be waiting, and still waiting for your orders a month later. When you open a Paypal case they lie and tell you that your has been delivered when it can’t possibly have been! I’ve been trying to get just a tracking number for over £100 worth of items, for a week now. Every single day they’re still posting to Facebook, still sending out email promotions trying to convince people to buy - don’t do it! This situation has cause me an unbelievable amount of stress, I’m a self employed, full time artist who needs those materials to work, all I want is the items I paid for, and I presently I can’t even get an email back!

Went to the shop to purchase items because the delivery is REALLY EXPENSIVE. But found that some items are available only on line. With no indication of this on the web site. Eventually decided to pay the exorbitant delivery fee (the delivery cost more than the product) only to find the items were not the same colour as on the web site or in the catalogue. When I asked for a full refund I was informed that the colours were accurate on both and that is was the device that was not displaying correctly. This is a blatant lie which they use as a 'get out clause' Have checked the web site on a number of different devices and they all show the colour the same and not accurate. I have now paid for product that I dont want and am told if I pay the delivery it will be refunded. Have not had a good experience dealing with them on line and their customer service is poor. Not to be recommended for on line purchases. I
