I like the product concept and low profile buckle. I am skinny, though, and cannot seem to get my pants to stay up with my Grip6. The belt and pants always return to the same relaxed position about an inch lower than I want. Wish there was a Grip6 that was duty-built at full width (2-inch), and didn't slip when I want it extra tight or my pants up higher than normal for certain situations. Good thing I kept my old leather belt.

Jeffrey, I'm sorry to hear you are having difficulties with the belt! If your belt is coming loose, you actually probably aren't putting it on correctly. This belt should function almost opposite to any belt you've used before. Our patented friction lock is guaranteed to stay tight all day long. Have you checked out our How-To videos? I'd recommend checking those out to make sure you are putting the belt on correctly. https://grip6.com/pages/how-it-works If the belt still doesn't work for you, feel free to reach out to us directly at grip6@grip6.com. We have a full lifetime guarantee on our belts and would be happy to buy it back from you! Additionally, have you seen our Workbelts? The belt you bought has a classic strap at 1.5" wide. Our Workbelts are sturdier and are 1.75" wide. Let us know if you'd like to exchange your belt!

I didn’t like the width. And size of buckle. Would like it less wide. Found the material looked a bit cheap. Mechanism worked well

Just too hard for me to slip the belt under... Never could get it tight enough to hold my pants up... wore it for a week but just had that problem. Someone lighter in weight may not have that problem.

The construction and quality is excellent. The width of the belt is way to large. I ordered two belts and have only one pair of jeans that have belt loops large enough to accommodate the belts. Lack of universal utility of modern pants make this a poor buy.

Good quality buckles and webbing; doesn't hold tight throughout the day, needs "teeth" to hold it one spot during the day,

The product is well made, I'm still getting use to the way it works.

A very good belt I wish I would have ordered a little bit longer one it slips a little bit I sensed it down with a belt loop from another old belt Works good again I probably should have ordered a couple of inches longer on the Belt but after I did that it is an incredibly good belt well made comfortable I did go by the guidelines on the website that I used and gave my waist measurement my basic pants size waste I should have went a couple of inches longer I will definitely recommend the belt to others but I will tell them to order it a little bit longer they can always cut it down if they need to

Was impressed initially when I received and wear the belt but I was disappointed when I found that I need to take much effort to release the belt. When in emergency situations will be very frustrating.

I don't recommend it for seniors.

The products look and feel good, however, the package arrived over a month after the date that was promised. When contacted, I received absolutely no help to locate my package.

Was hoping for more from these belts but sorry to say, I'm a bit disappointed. After trimming the webbing to length the first time, I've had to go back and trim, re-seal the cut ends two more times on 2 belts. Not a novice to cutting and sealing web material but I find that the webbing does not hold a seal very well. Two other issues are found when trying to cinch the belt tight. The rather cumbersome method of holding the buckle at an acute angle and then trying to cinch the webbing tight (particularly if using any type of holster or accessory onto the belt) enough to hold the weight, doesn't work well. At least for me. I do find the belt (s) comfortable once tightened and secure but the process to get them adjusted is a distraction and not always successful. Having come over from X-Concealment (now defunct), 511 Tactical, etc, these are much lighter in weight and overall more comfortable but the ability to cinch and forget and carry some weight on them is a drawback.

The belt works well. It does dig in to my beer belly more than I hoped it would. The edge of the webbing and buckle is a bit sharp.

Really like the idea of GRIP6 Belt. And maybe I'm used to thicker belts, but the thin belt part does not really feel premium. Just doesn't feel good enough to confidently rate more than 3/5 stars. The belt is also slightly large for me, which is not necessarily a problem since I could just shorten it. Also - not a knock on the product. But if there was free shipping I would be more inclined to buy additional buckles.

I love the buckles but, I am constantly re tightening the belt. Doesn't hold great. Maybe I should have ordered o couple sizes longer...

I never paid that much for a belt ever. The most may have been 25-30 dollars for a belt. The belt I bought was 39 dollars. I watched the video and thought this was the belt for me. I gave it an acceptable. It's just a nylon belt and buckle little pricey for what it is.

Cool concept and I love the buckle but for me it doesn’t sit flat and the belt material is not substantial enough to hold a light clip on work pouch without pulling away from my waste. This might be over tasking it so I won’t fault that. I was excited about the cleanness of a belt that pulls back into the same side it’s threaded through sitting underneath the top material but, it doesn’t Fold cleanly. Also size down when you state your belt size. I have way too much extra belt when tightened.

Matt, I'm so sorry you are experiencing this issue. Just so you know, we have a lifetime guarantee on our products and would love to buy the belt back if it is not working out for you. Just to be sure, have you watched our How-To video to make sure you are putting it on/taking it off correctly? It sounds like you aren't putting on the belt correctly, as the belt strap should not be folding back through the same side, it should actually be going through the opposite end. That likely would explain why you can't keep your work pouch on. You can find the How-To video here: https://grip6.com/pages/how-it-works Feel free to call us during business hours or email us directly at grip6@grip6.com and we would be happy to assist you further. Hope you have a wonderful day! - Bryce

Nice belts, good style style, good quality, quick shipping ... but difficult to get belts tight enough if you want them to hold your pants up

I was not aware you offered a wider belt other than the 1.5 inch. i would like to exchange the 1.5 version s for the 1.75 versions please as they fit much better in the belt loops. it looks like the smaller version might be for womens pants. i would like to exchange the exact i recieved please for the wider version. thank you...
