“The service provided was quick however the contact was inconsistent always requiring a call back. I cannot believe the charge for transferring the funds was £50. It costs nothing to transfer money... everyone does it all the time for no cost. Total rip off and I would not recommend”

“Initial contact and communication was excellent; however, towards end of selling house it was very frustrating - unable to make contact, emails and voice mails left unanswered.”

“Nicola Gorford, my Case Manager, was very courteous and professional throughout. Communication good, kept me informed at all times. The reason I have not given 5 stars is because I feel GW should more thoroughly vet the agents sent for home visits. I was very unhappy and stressed with the "solicitor" who visited me (for 15 minutes at the most). When I queried anything she continually responded "don't ask me that I am just the messenger".”

“Although there were a couple of land registry issues (which I had to sort out) all got sorted out in the end. GWlegal staff were always very helpful and kept me in the loop. The only thing that we were unhappy with was the cost of the service, which we didn't think was explained clearly in the Age Partnership documentation.”

“We were kept informed of progress at every stage. The representative who came to our home to complete the paperwork was very polite, helpful and explained everything fully. As have all the representative that we dealt with by phone. The time taken to complete the Equity Release has exceed our expectations and the timescales that had originally been quoted. Overall the process was completely stress free.”
