I was then given 3 different days for the remedial work, had to suffer a disengenious helpdesk person who refused to connect me with a manager, had to clear my corridor 4 times and wait 27 days after the agreed delivery day with a half finished job to get what I had ordered.

I am receiving unwanted spam from Hammonds. I repeatedly try to block them but still comes. The Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) has fined food delivery company HelloFresh £140,000 for a campaign of 79 million spam emails and 1 million spam texts over a seven-month period.

Having not made any plans for that weekend, I did not get to see my family who I hadn’t seen for nearly 2 years! I also had to completely re-arrange the carpet fitting, shutter fitting and delivery of my bed which because I had cancelled have been delayed by several weeks due to slots allocated to other customers.

I thought OK, these things happen, that's why they complete surveys, so accepted it would be different and was due a refund on the bit they couldn't do.

Super service from the Hammonds member of staff in the Stokers store in Southport. Very thorough and followed everything through. Designer excellent and full of ideas and patience. Reached successful solutions for two rooms. Hammonds surveyor brilliant too and very thorough. Looking forward to our installation. Early dates given for both rooms.

Excellent customer service from Christine at Hammonds Cross Hands. All my questions were answered and a designer visit was booked for the next day.

The customer service is shocking, no contact after contract signed until they want the balance paid, apparently I contacted them to let them know job was finished.
