BEWARE... They have gone bust and started again as Emitters selling old out of date stock. My client has lost a lot of money as they won't refund now. The switches he bought for over 1k are useless, they do not work. I hope the owners are happy with their gains!!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR NEW COMPANY ADAPTIVE LTD, TRADING AS EMITTERS.

I’ve ordered an ILumoS triple modular socket in August 2021 on behalf of my customer, I was advised that the actual faceplate is out of stock and should arrive within 2/3weeks. A month went by and apparently thier container was stuck in Netherlands. Another Month went by and it was still not here and again and again. Asked in January 2022 was told February it’ll be here. Nothing. Was then told End of March, then end of April. Last message 09/05/22 “This will be in stock in 2 weeks” I messaged them 3 weeks later no reply, messaged last week no reply. Surely it should be in your interest to update your customer on the status of this. Also asked for a refund, didn’t recieve it. Will never ever use this company. Not sure on other products but you can find all of them on AliExpress, unfortunately I can’t find the triple socket plate in the colour that I need. I’m giving them A week to get back to me with an update.

BE WARNED! THEIR LIGHTS ARE NOT BUILT TO LAST CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. OVERPRICED, CHEAP LIGHTS THAT ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. I initially bought one of their LED strip lights for £140 about 7 months ago and I wish I had never even heard of this company. It arrived with cheap plastic clips to install that look like someone has cut them off a longer strip with a hacksaw. You have to pay separately for this £24! I bought my own clips and installed the light. The remote to change the colour on the light worked for the first month then then got progressively worse to an extent where it didn't work. Sent them back for repair and they said they replaced the transformer. To be honest it came back working then progressively got worse over the next 3 months but at least we could still use the remote this time but had to be very close to the receiver. 6 months in I noticed the end of the light strip started to discolour e.g. some of the light would light up green while the rest would be red. Shortly after this it stopped working altogether. I would expect that lighting costing £140 to last longer than 6 months! Fed with the poor quality of the light I just wanted my money back. I sent the light back to Hartington Heath who have replied saying they will not repair, replace or refund the light as it doesn't satisfy their returns policy. No apology at all, just endorsing the fact that their item is not expected to last longer than 6 months. I have raised a formal complaint and as it stands heard nothing back.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The only thing they seem to do well is respond to emails. I placed an order mid August, was told it was dispatched but never received anything. After emailing, I was told that the dispatch note was an error, the products weren't actually in stock and I'd have to wait 4-6 weeks and that they'll email me to keep me updated. 7/8 weeks went by, nothing, not even an email. Was told that it'd be another 8 weeks after getting in touch. 3 weeks go by so I ask if there's an update in case anything changed. I'm told that I'll now be waiting until the new year (this was in October). Asked for a refund in the next email, to which they replied saying that they would get the items to me in 10 days now. Obviously too little too late, they say to expect the refund in my account in 3-5 working days. 9 days later (7 working days) I chased with an email. An hour later I got an email confirming they've processed my refund. The minute after, a correspondence to my email, just saying "I can confirm this has been processed". No apology or acknowledgement of their mistake. Just ignorance.

So, I placed an order for several custom build your own sockets on Friday 4/12. I received an email on the following Monday that my order had shipped and was on it's way for next day delivery. Thursday I had to contact Hartington Heath as it hadn't arrived. Turns out, my order hadn't shipped at all and was shipping that day for next day delivery. The next day it hadn't turned up and I again contacted HH who said they'd look into it. My order then turned up on the Saturday 12/12 but was incomplete as my sockets were missing the clip on frames. I once again contacted HH, who told me the frames would be shipped by 16/12. Well, 16/12 came and went and I once again had to contact HH, who said that this had been pushed back to 22/12. 22/12 came and went as well with no sign of the frames over Christmas. I contacted HH once again for the sixth time now and I've now been told the 13th January 2021. Will I see my frames? Who knows?! The most disappointing part of this is that there has been no attempt by HH to proactively contact myself to notify me of the various issues. Update: 15th Jan - this has been pushed back again to mid-Feb. Citing issues with Brexit happening beginning of Jan now, which doesn't explain why these were delayed 3 times in December. Absolute shambles.

Ordered products in July and November after ordering previously to check quality and product which was good. I ordered to complete the rest of my house refurb over £1000 over 2 orders, received an email saying it has been disptached. Nothing arrived. When I queried, they said it was out of stock. I received some of the order but not all with incorrect back plates which I was told would be rectified. After numerous contact with the customer service team who have not got a clue and you have to chase for updates continuously. I have now been told that the line has been discontinued with no suggestion of what they can do to help me with half a house finished.

Customer service may respond promptly to emails but they never deliver on their promises. Terrible miscommunication between after-sale team and the warehouse. Items are often out of stock and deliveries are delayed. 3 months later, I am still waiting for 2 more items to posted despite the customer service keeps telling me "it is being posted this week". The light switches and power sockets look nice but it is not worth the trouble. This has costed me more with rescheduling electricians' visit over and over again.

Recently purchased 80 led MR16. Eighteen failed within a few days, rang informed them that they were not in packaging. After receiving them manager rang “ not in original packaging” so can’t resell them, full refund refused. You can’t resell them as they are faulty! I said. Poor customer service when returning good. Better support from Amozon when returning goods that are not fit for purpose. I was advised to take it up with small claims if not happy.
