Very disappointing experience in a "luxury" department store.NO RECOMMENDED I am a lover of make up I was very excited to go to Harvey Nichols and enjoy the amazing selection of high-quality makeup brands. My disappointment starts in the disgusting condition of the tester in Ysl, lipstick with fluff and hair on them, foundation tester dripping over displays, primer tester has a dry product that hasn't been clean in ages, unbelievable conditions for a "luxury" brand. Customer service in this "prestigious" brand was poor and rude. Spanish, Italian lady with a very poor English, serve me with very bad manners and rushing the consultation with me. When I ask to be colour match she took a set of brushes from a drawer in absolutely disgusting conditions,what for I ask her to please to make sure the brush she uses with me was clean, as I have very sensitive skin, very rude and aggressive she mentions that all the brushes were clean, when I can clearly see rest of makeup on them. I felt very intimidated by her behaviour, and how aggressive she was applying foundation on me. I ask her if there was a counter manager with who I could have a word, and with a sarcastic smile on her face, she mentions she was the business manager while she walks away from me, to speak with somebody else from another counter in her mother tongue language, again with a very aggressive body language. I was very shocked, so I left with an incredible disheartened feeling. I don't even understand how companies as YSL and HARVEY NICHOLS, allowed this type of behaviour. How is possible that a manager in a luxury department store, don't speak proper English, doesn't care about counter hygiene conditions, use dirty brushes on customers, and she is so rude and aggressive. A rash appears few the day after in my face and I had to treat by a doctor. I will never come back to this department store.

I have a major problem with a store that sends you a faulty item and then refuses to let you return/replace it!! Not acceptable. Terrible customer services since too.

I purchaed my wedding dress at Harvey Nicols and it arrived while I was overseas visiting my family for Christmas. When I arrived home, I tried it on and it did not fit. They have refused to exchange it for a different size because it was after their 14 day return policy. I was even willing to pay postage or return it in store. I could understand not refunding money but I simply want a different size. I will not be shopping with them again.

Best luxury department store. There’s a variety of clothes and trainers for everyone. Spoilt for choice!

I have previously loved shopping at Harvey Nichols but the Edinburgh shop is horrible. The only staff who make any effort are generally those in the food court. I have a few times been walking around the men's and women's wear departments looking for help or to try something on and have been completely ignored; once a woman came from the other side of the shop to help me even though someone was stood a metre away from me and was clearly ignoring me. I also have found out that they sell real fur, having reintroduced it a few years ago, despite the previous ban on real fur in their shops which I think is despicable.

Seem to be the only stockists i Dublin of Stone Island clothing range. Sale item. Very Happy with purchase.

Cancelled my order as the item was out of stock and said that I have not been charged. 4 days later my credit card account shows that the amount for the order is a still a pending transaction and I cannot access the funds. Ridiculous!
