“I bought a Bathmaster bath chair lift and swivel seat in good faith for my 85 year old mum. Unfortunately the bath chair did not fit in the bath and so I requested a refund and was refused due to some law about them not accepting refunds due to hygiene reasons. This chair had never been used. Imagine if we could only touch a medical device once in the NHS! There was no goodwill gesture and so i am left with equipment that is useless and i paid over £370. I think this get out clause is unacceptable and targets the elderly or infirm. Do not fall into the same trap.”
“I was refused a refund as it was outside of 14 day return policy. So don’t order several pairs to try. The fact is you need a few weeks to establish if the insole is successful. At which time you will not be able to get a refund on the unused pairs. There are lots of companies that offer you a longer return. I ordered 2 different pairs of insole to help a patient with acute tendinitis and will have to bear the cost as I can’t leave her out of pocket. I shan’t be using this company again.”
