“absolutely worst airport of my life!!!!!!! we were stuck on the bus after landing from Lisbon and the bus was stuck for 45 minutes making us late to our connecting in london to san fran. We are a family of seven who showed up completely early a full hour early aftwr landing from our first flight and yet they still left without us. My sister has a disability causing her to not walk fast and this airport completely SUCKS!!!! Absolutely did not help us with another flight all they did was tell us we are late and there was NOTHING that they could do for us. i want everyone to know what a horrible airport this is and the people who work here have absolutely zero empathy for those with disabilities. Never flying back here again”
“Do you like taking endless trams, lifts, and buses? Do you like being late and rushed because they have to drive 5 miles and two bus transfers between flights? Do you like going through security checks multiple times for no reason? Then this is the airport for you! Here at Heathrow, we like to take the moderately uncomplicated and turn into a Jungian knot of incomprehensible directions and multimodal transport in order to maximize lateness and chaos.
-5/10 would not use if I weren't forced to. I'd rather eat cat poop with a knitting needle than pass through these doors again. Awful”
“servizio PESSIMO.
“We had ordered a rental car but we were unable to find any signs to direct us to Rental Cars. We were in Terminal 5. We walked around with luggage for about 35 minutes! Also, it took 1 1/2 hours for our baggage to be unloaded- longer than our flight from Dublin!!!”
“I fly from Heathrow often in early hours but travel a good distance so like others stay in the passenger streets through the night. Once again, it is a battle to use the Women's Bathroom (Toilet). The night cleaner closes off the Men's Toilet and leaves the Women's open. So the construction workers all dirty up the Women's Toilet until one decides to finally go into the Men's side. It is not safe. This is the one located by Cafe' Nero and Boots. Also, the airport stays so very cold. It is such a hard and unpleasant experience. Then you fight through Security. Tons of employees, half not working.”
“Wheel chair assistance at Heathrow are so rude. They wanted to leave my disabled mum at the check in counter when I complained to the manager the manager was even more rude. They really need to train there wheel chair assistants on behaviour and conduct.”
“Waited approx over an hour for bags while flights landing later got theirs first. Extremely poor baggage handling, leading to unnecessary parking charges for people waiting to pick us up. Feels like a cash grab and the worst airport experience I’ve had.
Best to fly somewhere, very bad first impressions of this third world country”

“Their security has mixed policies, very inconsistent. I went through with duck tape in my luggage. They detected it, checked and verified to see what it is then let me through.
The following week I went through again, same thing. They detected it, checked and verified it was duck tape, but this time it was confiscated. The guy said it wasn't allowed.”
“Very bad service and no professional staff at all. Arranged my mum travel with wheelchair assistance due to her health issues. Wheelchair assistance team member just left her in the baggage collection point and left saying just 2 min walk to outside without even helping to collect her bags. She was not allowed to push any weight. When see came out by herself I was almost in tears. No responsible people at all.”
“By far the worst ground staff at any European airport. Over crowded, poor customer service, lack of professionalism and occasional racism incidents are the prominent hallmarks of Heathrow.”
“First ,after we landed we were on a bus for way too long. Then as we walk thru the airport and deal with airport personnel is it too much to ask for happy workers. The TSA lady was a very rude and condescending , as was the man that waves you thru. No one deserves to be put down or told not my problem.
Yes, we will be avoiding London from now on.”
