“The sizing is a joke. if you are anything other than a full size, you will never get a shoe that actually fits. the first pair was so big on my foot, it flopped like a flip flop. trying to return them was horrible and customer service was rude. fine. gave those away. ordered down. if i could remove my big toe, they would fit perfectly. now i am upset. i was put on hold for 45 mins before i hung up and did chat. that was ridiculous too. I am disgusted by this company, their attitude when you tell them something is wrong, and their refusal to refund my money other than an e card. I DO NOT WANT YOUR STUPID SHOES. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Hassle free returns my a$$. Such gross business practices. BEWARE!!!!!”

“I bought my first pair of dudes from a small shoe shop in Padstow, Cornwall in 2012. They were slightly more than my usual holiday purchase but the assistant said that it was worth it as they were as hard wearing as they were comfortable. That was 4 years and several hundred miles of walking ago and I'm delighted to say that the assistant wasn't wrong. My dudes are essential weekend and holiday wear, they are practical and more comfortable than any other form of beach or casual foot wear I own. They look good with shorts and jeans and are so light that you can take ten pairs and still not register anything on the pre flight weigh in. If they get a bit whiffy, simply bung them in the washing machine and watch how the robust design ensures that you get a reinvigorated pair of stench free dudes that dry out within a couple of hours. I would not hesitate recommending dudes to any one as they are by far the best ever casual shoes I have bought and are excellent value for money. To prove I'm not just blowing smoke, I have just invested in several more pairs of dudes which I expect to last me another 4 years.”

“The insoles were wore out actually shredded within 3 months. I do walk a decent amount but would expect the insoles to stay together. I own a pair of redheads which I bought at cabelas for 40 dollars and they are of much higher quality and equal comfort. Hey dudes were comfortable but only for a short time. The redheads took just as much use and they are still. FYI don’t buy the cool name other shoes are better quality. Had to take insoles out if I ever wear again. I’m not big guy or anything either just normal use ruined the insoles”

“I had an utterly horrible experience buying a pair of size 11 Hey Dude shoes online from the company. The pair I bought were too big, so I sent them back to exchange for a size 10. To my surprise, the size 10s were actually longer than the size 11s! I emailed the company to ask if I should try a size 9 or re-purchase a different pair of size 10s. The company answered with a lot of policy-speak and requests for photos, and threats of no refunds if they had been worn, etc. They didn't even answer my original question! After 3-4 more emails explaining the story over again to each new representative, I finally gave up. The shoes are not worth the aggravation!”

“Horrible Shipping!!! I have ordered a pair of shoes for my boyfriend for his birthday. It showed to be delivered early. That didn’t happen. Then it says that the order would be delivered on his birthday FEB 7th. It showed it was out for delivery. Never came. Check the tracking and it shows “no such number” which of course it is I use it on every website and never have a problem. Have emailed them multiple times. No answer. Tried the carrier they use (DHL) no answer. Postal service. No answer. I have used my address for amazon and other websites and they are full able and capable is finding my home. I checked the order number just in case I put the wrong address in. Turns out it’s all correct and means someone from hey dudes messed up my order and now I’m having to pay the consequences of some dumbass who can’t read 3 numbers correctly or can’t spell. 🙄 if it wasn’t for this problem and the little help I have received to fix the problem I would order from their website again for sure…..but after this….not again. I’ll get them through Amazon who is DEPENDABLE!”

“The shoes are amazing and comfortable but shipping is HORRIBLE. It said 3-7 day delivery. I keep checking and it just saying the shipping label was made and hasn’t been shipped…..but 3 days ago it said it was going to be delivered…but wasn’t. Now just says only shipping label has been made and waiting on carrier! 🤬 like what the hell. Their shipping company is horrible, they are amazing shoes I will say that but ordering from their website is HORRIBLE!!!”

“Comfortable and good looking. Used as slippers/house shoes that can go out in the garden. They don't offer as much support as the Crocs Santa Cruz used to. The Fartys wear in the same strange way (hole appears in big toe area, but not in socks quite quickly). Time will tell if these wear well though as they fit differently.”

“I love these shoesm they really are the comfiest shoes known to man (easy slip on). I imagine it's what walking on Gods beared must be like. Just chuck in the washing machine if they get a bit dirty and I actually prefer running in them occasionally to my Air Max. You get quite a few comments on them too. I was stood at a bar t'other day when a pretty, young lady stood next to me and said "Ooo I like those." As I looked down and then back up to her I said "Thank you very much, I've had them for about 40 years." She looked at me and then back down and then back at me in a puzzled manner. I said "oh, my dudes! I thought you were referring to my legs!" Anyway, we've been seeing eachother for a few years now so these shoes will also get you a girlfriend. Worthy buy In my opinion...”

“Lovely shoes but sizes vary significantly between styles - Mokka i need a size larger than usual, but then 3 other styles were all too big. Also some images are slightly misleading - what looks like pretend laces are in fact genuine laces which are too bulky to try and just tuck in.”
