“Worst customer service!!!! I placed my order. They put wrong address for shipping. Used my car payment address without my apartment number. I called them right away. They told me they will answer me in 24 hours through email if they can change or cancel order!!!! When I request to talk to manager they declined!!!! It is second time when they put incorrect information and are lied to me that they can update it because order had been shipped. Even I did not receive any information that had been shipped.”

“I’ve owned these two pairs of HEYDUDE Wallys for around six years, and they’re still my go-to shoes. They’ve walked miles of the beautiful Welsh coastline, travelled with me around Majorca, and I even wear them to work because they’re so lightweight and comfortable. It’s no surprise you see so many healthcare professionals wearing them when they’re on their feet all day. They’re breathable, incredibly comfortable, easy to pack for holidays, and versatile enough to wear almost anywhere. After six years, I’m finally looking to buy another pair, which says everything about the quality and value. Highly recommended.”

“I bought a pair of white HeyDude shoes from one of their retailers, and within days the brown leather accents — including the piece with their own logo — and the inside material bled onto the white canvas the moment they got wet. The shoes were permanently ruined. This proves not only the poor quality of the materials but also a complete lack of competency from whoever is developing these products. For over 15 days I’ve been trying to get help. I reached out to their customer service FOUR times and got nowhere. Their policy that they “can’t process a warranty if you didn’t buy online” is absurd. To make things worse, every call routes to overseas contractors who are hard to understand and have no authority to resolve anything. It’s insulting and beyond frustrating. I’m furious at the total lack of accountability. I basically paid for a pair of unwearable shoes, and HeyDude hides behind nonsense policies instead of standing behind their product. If anyone from the actual company bothers to read this — not another third-party contractor — my claim number is case#08333875 there are pictures included. Let’s see if someone with real authority finally reaches out. Avoid this brand.”

“Ancient ridiculous convoluted returns process that is not clearly indicated on website! Postage Returns labels including in parcel returns slips MUST BE PRINTED! They do not use the QR code facility to just take to the post office. ALL LABELS MUST BE PRINTED! Customer service suggested i travel to local library to print labels off, but they would not reimburse costs for this inconvenience! So if you do not have access to a printer be warned before you purchase! Definitely not an environmentally friendly company!”

“I have been buying Dudes for over 10 years now and still have my originals, but never again. They are blatantly ripping people off: Carson Sandal Unisex costs £64.99 and Carson Sandal Unisex Sports Mode cost £59.99 yet they are the same shoe. No difference whatsoever other than marketing. Customer Services were unable to identify even one aspect where they differ, other than name, but could not. Both shoes are the same materials, design, dimensions, everything. Dishonesty cannot be tolerated. Crocs have taken a reputable and trusted brand and ruined it.”

“I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Hey Dude. While browsing their website, I attempted to apply a teacher discount through ID.me, but the discount failed to appear at checkout. Without finalizing the order, I suddenly received a notification that my payment had been processed—without my intention to complete the purchase. Attempting to rectify the issue, I discovered there was no option to cancel the order on their website. Their customer service chat turned out to be an automated bot, providing no real assistance. When I called their support line, I was shocked to find they operate on UK time, making it difficult for U.S.-based customers to get help. The following morning, after finally reaching an agent, I explained my situation, only to be told there was nothing they could do since the order had already been processed. I suggested that they contact the shipping company to hold the order, but they refused. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, the representative asked me to explain everything again—only to eventually tell me no supervisors were available. At this point, I realized that Hey Dude lacks proper customer service and does not prioritize customer satisfaction. I strongly advise caution when shopping with this company. Their support is unresponsive, and they fail to assist with reasonable requests. Based on this experience, I will never make another purchase from them.”

“I have 3 pairs of Hey Dude shoes. They are not uncomfortable, but I certainly wouldn’t say they are super comfortable. I certainly wouldn’t buy another pair, and would only buy, Hooka, Sketchers or Brooks, those shoes are heavenly.”

“This site claims to offer a 15% discount. At checkout it will show it has been applied but after placing your order it has disappeared. Customer Service will simply tell you "touch luck Charlie" and refuse to adjust the price. I won't be ordering anything else from a site that treats it's customers this way.”

“I loved Hey Dudes for my husband and I. I particularly loved the rise style because I need a thicker sole due to foot issues. This year, the options are slim and there's the peak style. Sorry, not my style and so I guess you lost us as customers.”

“Having only worn Dudes for the last 10 years, I am very disappointed with my most recent pair , Wally slip on recycled ( supposedly )leather. First they make my feet sweat badly and feel very drawn . On examining them very closely, they are PU , definitely NOT real leather. I have 4 other pairs of older leather Dudes, none of which give me this problem and are obviously and without doubt real leather. I don’t know if this is because they’ve been taken over by Crocs or not but I’ve never had a problem with Dudes before and never had man made material described as leather before.”

“ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY FROM THE WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE Review by Anonymous UserI ordered a Men's Cody in Charcoal Gray size 13......received a Men's Wally ORANGE/ARMY GREEN SIZE 9!!!!!!!!! Seriously!!!!! So did the online chat was told the only thing I could do is return them for an exchange or order another pair and then return the wrong pair. I explained this was a Christmas gift and either way I wouldn't have them for Christmas. This was the only thing my Grandson had asked for. As I'm replying via the chat a message pops up asking me if I am still there and then disconnects me, even though you know they can see the little dots showing I'm typing. So called customer service again was told that I could exchange or buy another pair, again I explained that this was for a Christmas gift and I wouldn't have them by Christmas. I then asked for a Supervisor, was put on hold and when he came back I was old all Supervisors were busy helping other customers. He offered tp have someone call me back within 2 hours, I told him I would hold, was put on hold for 10 minutes then told still all Supervisors were busy. Also let me add it sounded like there was a party going on in the background. I told him I would still hold after holding for another 20 minutes I finally hung up. Went on Amazon found the exact pair of Hey Dudes I was looking for, ordered them and will have them by Saturday. I have sent back my return so we'll see how long that takes. Let me add the ONLY reason I still bought the Hey Dudes is because that is all he asked for, guarantee I will Never order them again, and will tell everyone I know NOT to order these!!!!!”

“Return and Exhange Process is Archaic I would give them zero stars but I was required to give 1-5. After making a return I didn’t hear anything from them for 13 days. I finally gave up and used Live Chat where I was told my item was returned to the warehouse but after receipt it takes them 10 business days (not counting weekends) to “process”! I’ve never heard of such a thing. Then to make matters worse I had to ask about my exchange and things went bad to worse. WhIle I had filled out an exchange form online I was told I had to contact them back after tomorrow (the 10 day business mark) to request an exchange. I asked why and was told they don’t process the exchanges without it. what?! what is the point in the form and how would I as a consumer know I had to do this! I asked all of these questions and was told I’m sorry. Anything else you need two more times. At this point I asked to just refund my money. I was told again I can’t just ask for a refund. I have to recontact them tomorrow. Upon this insanity I told them I would not. I honestly feel this is their way of keeping the refund and hoping customers forget about it. I’ve bought no less than 7 pairs of Hey Dudes for my boys. Never again.”

“I want to start off I like heydude shoes I visited the new store in Oklahoma City at the outlet they tell me all sizes and what side the men's and women's was said there was no refunds due to this being a discount store which is totally fine I will say all shoes need to be on a shoe rack for better display my shoes was stacked on the table so I looked on top and didn't see anything I really liked so I looked at the bottom I was going through them put about 4 shoes on top then I believe she was the store manager she came to me and stated please stop messing up the bottom and putting the shoes on top she said what was on top was on bottom i top her I found several pairs on on top of the top for she repeated to stop doing it I don't know why I stayed and bought 2 pairs of shoes when I should of just got up and walked out I would of been happy if she would have not leave it a mess with all this she should have not even said anything I was not being destructive”

“The sizing is a joke. if you are anything other than a full size, you will never get a shoe that actually fits. the first pair was so big on my foot, it flopped like a flip flop. trying to return them was horrible and customer service was rude. fine. gave those away. ordered down. if i could remove my big toe, they would fit perfectly. now i am upset. i was put on hold for 45 mins before i hung up and did chat. that was ridiculous too. I am disgusted by this company, their attitude when you tell them something is wrong, and their refusal to refund my money other than an e card. I DO NOT WANT YOUR STUPID SHOES. I WANT MY MONEY BACK. Hassle free returns my a$$. Such gross business practices. BEWARE!!!!!”
