“Very pleased with the paper I ordered, although I would recommend ordering well in advance of when items are required. I'm glad to relay I did just that as there were delivery issues. However, I was in constant dialogue with Yvette from the sales team who gave options to re order or cancel when delays occurred. I didn't see the point of re ordering as new parcels would have joined others in existing backlogs (due to inclement weather). As for cancelling this really wasn't an option for me. Anyway, all's well that ends well and thanks to all at Historic Newspapers. I'd have no hesitation in recommending your products to others.”

“I bought this for my dad’s 80th birthday. He absolutely loves it and reading this wonderful book will keep him occupied for ages. The book itself is really good quality. Presented beautifully. A page from a newspaper for every birthday throughout his life. Very interesting, reading the news headlines from 1938, right up to present day. Very pleased with this and would recommend to anyone thinking of getting someone a pressie with a difference.”

“I bought this for my son's 40th birthday present and he was delighted. He ,moved from the UK to New Zealand so seeing an English newspaper again was also pleasing for him. The shipping service to Spain where I live was excellent and the presentation box ideal. A really successful birthday present. Thank you.”

“Unfortunately, I still haven't received this gift, which was intended for an 80th birthday celebration, because the promised (and paid for) next day delivery did not materialise. If you are ordering weeks in advance this might be a good product, I couldn't say. The courier firm did not answer the phone when I tried to track down the parcel - I've never heard of APC Overnight and I'd certainly never use them again; the problem is that one never knows whether a company like Historic Newspapers is using a reputable delivery firm or a couple of blokes with a van. I was unable to give my father the present at his birthday celebration and will now have to pay to get the item delivered to him. This is a consequence of Historic Newspapers choice of delivery firm but they have not compensated me appropriately. In light of my experience, I wouldn't recommend the company or suggest that other people use them. There are other companies offering similar services, but who are less far up Google's rankings: I wish I'd purchased from BygoneNews.”

“This was a really excellent present for a friend's father's 100th birthday. The presentation box and packaging of the 1918 Times newspaper was very classy and professionally done, the newspaper itself was extremely well preserved and was an original, not a facsimile. I would certainly recommend Historic Newspapers to anyone who wants an original present for a birthday or anniversary, or even just historic interest.”
