“Good service on telephone, but very slow dispatch! Waited nearly two weeks before my order arrived!”

“My brother in law was delighted with the History of West Ham Utd that I ordered as a birthday gift for him. I was impressed with the quality of the item, just a bit surprised that the print was smaller than expected considering the size of the page used. Thankfully he is able to manage & is thoroughly enjoying the match coverages,particularly those he attended as a season ticket holder of 60 plus years. I would happily recommend the product to others.”

“I bought a copy of this newspaper to celebrate my mother's 95 birthday, not realising that it would be an original edition carefully mended with "magic tape". She was thrilled to receive something the same age as herself; however there is a slight downside, and that is that newsprint of that age is extremely fragile and despite very careful handling, bits keep breaking off. Buyers should be aware of the fact that this could be the case with older papers. Having said that, her joy at receiving the gift more than compensated for its fragility.”

“Had wanted to order on amazon.co.uk but couldn't see how to put postcode in for tea towel map of particular area of UK. Then had wanted to order several map tea towels from your site, but with different postcodes, but would have had to order separately I think, paying more delivery costs than necessary. As it was a gift, I don't really know how the service was, but the order experience was fine.”

“Overall experience was very good but it would be really helpful if the return address was in "code" - saying "Historic newspapers" in the address is not good at all. Very few people will buy these newspapers for themselves and many well buy them for a gift for someone they live with”

“Very easy to find, what you are looking for and it was shipped December 10 and unfortunately didn't make it before January 4. Love the service and the idea of getting a paper that is 85 years old, but why does it take almost a month to deliver from the UK to Denmark?”

“The ordering process was straightforward and the personalised book I ordered was quickly delivered. Unfortunately, it was damaged. However, Historic Newspapers very quickly ordered a replacement which arrived within a few days - and it was in perfect condition. All-in-all, they treated me very well.”
