“The product itself was beautiful and has made a perfect gift. The only issue was the label on the inside of the front cover was not positioned straight. This made an otherwise lovely gift look a bit tacky. Hence the 4 stars. I was able to remove it and reposition it straight but this left a slight mark in the top right corner. Just a bit of care and attention to the personal finish and I would have given this 5 stars”

“This really is an excellent service - quick and deliver what is expected, a newspaper in great condition and beautiful storage box plus a bonus newspaper that brought a lot of joy to the recipient! I'm only giving four stars as I would have liked more communication on the delivery. I had an initial 3 day window provided to me when I ordered the product. The next communication I received was after those days had pass as an email to review the service without confirmation that it had been delivered. As it was a gift, I had to call the recipient to ensure it had arrived. Other than that, fantastic.”

“I had some difficulty in selecting the paper wanted as at first the actual date was not available. However, I pursued my search and eventually the correct date came up. On line help was not readily available. The goods were delivered on time and the recipient was happy with my purchase. I would use them again.”

“Really a great product and service but 4 stars because I did hope the quality of the book would have been exceptional considering the price. But definitely still a great gift. My father got hours of enjoyment with it. Note that the stories in the book are not just from the day of birth as doesn't make clear on the website.”

“If I had a criticism of your online service, it would be that if you buy more than one paper at a time, you're still required to buy another cardboard display box. To keep costs to a minimum, I bought both types of boxes that I purchased last, then put both papers in the higher value box, as there was sufficient space. In short, when customers are buying more than one historic newspaper in the higher value box/case, additional box/cases are surplus to requirements.”

“I brought a Historic Newspaper book about Nottingham Forest for my Brother on his birthday and he was thrilled with it! The book covered all the major story lines from the very early days of Nottingham Forest right up to the Present day and it looked great in it's leather hardback with some great photos too. The only slight negative was that the print for the very early stories was so small that it was difficult to read and really required a magnifying glass to read properly as my Father stood no chance. Overall a nice gift though and I would definitely recommend.”

“Great product, only downside was quite alot of the pages at the back were stuck together, took me ages to get them apart as it is a gift so didn't want to cause any damage, altho one page got slightly damaged, hoping it won't be noticed”

“I ordered recently 2 newspapers for my sisters who were both celebrating Golden Wedding Anniversarys. On the first order the billing address was showing as their address, which I queried on a telephone message...A female phoned me back and was very helpful and changed it to mine..as I didn't want anything else to go out to them,except their present. On the second order it happened again..2 phone messages left no phone call back..There should be on the website a note to complete when you pay on PAYPAL to confirm who is ordering,and not who posted to only..Thank you”
