“I’m impressed by the efficiency of your service but a little surprised that your collection comprises mainly of local newspapers and not so many national papers. Am I right in thinking that this website is unique in the U.K. A brilliant idea!”

“Knew this service was out there and wanted to get something special for my 2 grandsons for the future. The ordering process could be much improved, difficult to work out what you've ordered and particularly on the personalisation section. I didn't get it quite right so had to order again for completeness. However the delivered product was excellent but it turned out to be far more expensive than first envisaged, but my choice and it was for 2 special people but wouldn't normally pay so much for a backdated copy of The Graundian.....”

“Very impressed! My mum will love it. Glad it was 70 years though as from mid 90's they are more of a big headline and not much story as they are carried onto another page That's just how the newspaper changed its layout. However, thoroughly enjoyed reading interesting and sometimes bizarre stories from the earlier decades.”

“The ordering process was reasonably simple and the product itself was excellent and appreciated by the recipient. The bit in the middle was the problem part - it was ordered well in time for a birthday and the tracking said expected delivery 15 or 16 of March and the tracking information never changed even though the product had not been delivered...it arrived on the 22nd 5 days after the birthday!”

“Bought for my partner as a birthday gift.. some may say its a bit expensive but for a milestone birthday I'm very happy and I know she will love it. The paper is in great condition. The bottle is exactly what is advertised and looks wonderful. The gift box and red tissue paper was a lovely touch. Great gift.. only issue I had was I payed for tracking and I could never track it. When I emailed to see when it was due they responded ASAP. Turned up from work and item was left on doorstep.. I'm glad it was still there as its not the friendliest of neighborhoods but that's happening all the time with our parcels now. So all in all very happy. If I could have tracked it I would have given it 5 stars. Thank you historic paper's.”

“The paper was swiftly dispatched and nicely boxed - and was in good condition. Sadly, for the date requested there were only limited paper choices and none of the national titles was available. Nevertheless it was an interesting record of London life on the day.”

“It took much longer than I thought it would to place the order. I had interruptions (door bell, deliveries, phone, etc) at home and every time I returned to complete the order, I had to re-start the process. It was frustrating but I had ordered with this Company before and knew that - with a little patience - it would be well worth the effort ... and it was!!”

“I was very impressed with the quality of the presentation, including the personalisation, but was more than a little disappointed that some major events were missing from the content. To have a history of West Ham United without any reference to Moore, Hurst and Peters in the 1966 world cup winning team and, even more surprising, nothing about leaving Upton Park and moving to the London Stadium, leaves me wondering who edited this version.”

“Great product, turned up when expected. Recipient was really chuffed to bits. I didn't realise how big the 'luxury' box was (which meant I couldn't pack in my hand luggage, so a waste of £10). I'd suggest @HistoricPapers think about a tube for postage, which meant I could've got it in (which is what I ended up doing and the paper wasn't ruined).”

“I bought this paper for my dad’s 85th birthday, the paper was originally issued on his birth date in 1934, I felt it was a little expensive at £45, this includes £5 gift box (optional) and £5 delivery, however I am very pleased with the service and speed of delivery and they seem to provide a professional service as it also came well packaged to avoid damage.”
