“The newspaper is a gift for a Liverpudlian and I am sure he will be pleased with it. The one disappointment is the presentation box arrived with some damage due to the not very strong box used for dispatch.”

“Good overall service and the product is excellent, although maybe a bit expensive. Delivery was quick and the item was protected and well-packaged. It was a gift for my dad and he loves it. I would order from this company again. My only gripe is their email marketing. As soon as I'd completed the order I was bombarded with marketing and sales emails. Sometimes 2 emails a day! Within a week my inbox was full of marketing emails from Historic Newspapers. Please don't bombard new customers with junk, it's off-putting.”

“Products ordered are great - an original newspaper and photo book for my Dad's birthday. Unfortunately only one product arrived in time for his birthday even though the tracking information said both had been delivered. Historic newspapers have since refunded the postage costs on reading this review so I have updated my score.”

“Very pleased with the paper I ordered, although I would recommend ordering well in advance of when items are required. I'm glad to relay I did just that as there were delivery issues. However, I was in constant dialogue with Yvette from the sales team who gave options to re order or cancel when delays occurred. I didn't see the point of re ordering as new parcels would have joined others in existing backlogs (due to inclement weather). As for cancelling this really wasn't an option for me. Anyway, all's well that ends well and thanks to all at Historic Newspapers. I'd have no hesitation in recommending your products to others.”

“I am very happy with the quality of the football book I bought for my friends 40th birthday. The only downside is I wanted his name written on the front of it and it came without it. I have spoken to a member of staff who said I chose the gift box and not the writing. I will say I wouldn't choose the box as I'm always thinking of the environment. But the main reason I chose the book is because it was something personal to him. That's nothing without his name. If this is what I chose then it was a mistake. When prepping the order I wrote his name on the cover. So somewhere something went wrong. Maybe it needs to be made clearer?”

“Exactly what I asked for, very efficient. Unfortunately, there appear to have been more than one edition of the Daily Mirror on that specific date and the articles and photos were not in the edition I was sent. But they have kindly agreed to refund me my money - even though it was not their fault. Very impressed”

“I live on the Isle of Man and at check out was mistakenly charged £20 international delivery fee instead of the domestic delivery fee of £7.99. I contacted customer services and they quickly refunded £12.01 of the £20 fee. Very happy with how quickly they sorted it out for me.”
