“I was seeking an unusual present for a 60th birthday and found the ideal gift of 60 years of newspaper articles one for each of my friends birthdays. The order process was easy and there were a few options to personalise the gift and I was able to send it straight to my friends address, overall a good package.”

“Quick and easy ordering process. The Leeds United football book is fab and I'm sure the recipient will be delighted with his personalised copy. However, I was a little disappointed in the size of the print. Very small and not easy to read. Otherwise great book.”

“I would have given 5 stars but as my first time ordering from Historic Newspapers,my inscription I wanted printed was printed on a sticker and not actually on the page of the book and the sticker was not placed on straight and even though the current Premier League is not over the Crystal Palace news uptill now for 2021,I would have liked it to be included and not upto only 2020.”

“The gift was wonderful, presented beautifully in a gift box. The only reason I am marking down a star is due to their lack of acknowledgment to the recipient that it was a gift. After enquiring was told there was no option to enclose a note, so the recipient would know where it came from. Very disappointing. I had to write my name in the receipts name box instead and hope they noticed. What a shame you can’t print a note out.”

“Got a Historic newspaper for the 21st Birthday of my Grandaughter. Very impressed with box it came in plus the postage box was sturdy. As she has just finished her history degree with Honours I thought it would be of interest. She loved it. I am going to order one for my daughter and son-in-law who are both edging toward their 50th Birthdays”

Really good value as a gift, especially when you consider that a bonus newspaper was thrown in, which dated all the way back to 1831! I would highly recommend this as a special present that the recipient will be delighted with.”
