“After looking up the cost of the supplied whiskey that was part of the package I feel I received poor value. Based on the cost of the whiskey from local supermarket I’ve been stung for £60 JUST for an old newspaper! Should have just bought my friend two bottles of the same whiskey and it would have been £20 cheaper! The “presentation” box is very poor cheap quality too, something you could pickup from the card factory for £4. UPDATE As noted by the company they did indeed refund me the shipping cost which is a nice gesture so it's only fair i increase the amount of stars on this review but i would still encourage others to shop around for gifts such as this and remember to always ask for a discount code.”

“Friends bought me an Historic Newspaper (Liverpool FC) for Christmas, brilliant with so much to read and remember (not all of it, I'm not that old!!). Anyway with my daughters birthday looming and running out of ideas for a present I had a brainwave, she loves Watford FC, thank you Historic Newspapers, problem sorted. Great quality and service.”

“I was happy with the newspaper, delivery, the price is very expensive,but bearing in mind it is a special gift, BUT the box was a huge disappointment, at an extra cost. It does not fit the newspaper in it without being folded over, which ruins the newspaper, obviously. As it an item most people will want to keep-NOT IDEAL . It only needs to about an inch bigger though to fit without folding it!! Just make the box a bit bigger and let people know it will fit the paper for storage- unfolded!!They may even pay a bit more.”
