“Each time I chose to send the newspaper of the day of someone's Birth, they receive them with delight. It always proves to be so interesting to see what was going on at the time of their birth. Not always good things but never the less, good to know. For everyone, it also gives them an idea of what their parents were undergoing, strikes, wars, weddings all manner of things and that is what makes it interesting to all.”

“I never normally write reviews but the service I received from this company was so poor I feel it is worth mentioning to help others avoid suffering the same. I ordered a historical newspaper for my Uncle's 90th birthday on 6th November 2019. It didn't arrive on time for his birthday 11 days later. In fact, I was actually sent out someone else's order. On the 22nd November I contacted the company via email & they apologised, asked me to send the wrong order back to them and they would send my actual order out to me asap. As I still had not received my order by the 16th December I sent them an email asking if I would be likely to receive it by Xmas. There was no response. So I sent another email on the 20th December asking the same thing. There was no response again. I then called the company on the 31st December and was told that there was apparently an issue with obtaining the frames for the newspapers and that they should probably give me a refund as they had no idea when or if ever these would be received. Not the greatest service I've ever had... I strongly recommend that this company be avoided or you will most likely end up just as disappointed as I was.”

“A beautiful birthday gift. I ordered the first one but put wrong date. Only realised after book had been produced, contacted Historic Newspapers and the lady I spoke to was very helpful and understanding about my mistake and offered to produce a new book with a huge discount. Very, very happy with all involved. Will definitely buy again for family and friends.”

“Ordered paper for 80th birthday, didn’t arrive and when I contacted Historic Newspaper, they looked into it and I was told that the order was lost, had the option to re-order, which I went with, but then only to be told that I had the last one. Communication with Historic Newspaper was good, but I was very disappointed. Was told I could another another one, but would take another 2 - 3 working days. I ordered one from another company and they had it arrived 48 hours later.”
