Site confusing wasnt sure until the final stage that the total amount was due straight away. Also wasnt aware that home to go was part of Sykes and the property was a different price on both sites. I had been sent a discount code from Sykes and could have used it. I will contact Sykes.

Booking itself was easy and went smoothly. But then we got email to say that it’s just an enquiry but full amount of money was taken from our account . Next day the booking was declined with message saying money will be refunded within 10 WORKING DAY!!!!!

Happy with my choice of holiday chalet but not so pleased with my payment being cancelled due to the problem with Hometogo system. Extra calls had to be made to Managing Agent Hoseasons to enable booking to be completed in time.

Unfortunately, I tried to book two nights but ended up with only one. Consequently, I have had to contact the property directly.

Was interesting looking at available accommodation such a wide range of styles and prices Unfortunately several I tried to book that claimed to have vacancies would not accept my booking ...I took it a bit personally !?!? in the end stayed with a lovely lady in a cute cottage at a unreasonably cheap price.. so good result in the end !

I found the service pushy and inaccurate. I registered interest in accommodation in BC a specific area of South London. I aked an owner a question, to which I did not receive a response but what I did receive was maybe 50 messages in 3 days with offers of accommodation up to 40+Miles away. Shame but useless and irritating with the amount of ‘spam’ received.

After finding suitable accommodation for a family holiday later this year (October). I began the booking process. However, what the hometogo website did not advise, or if it did it was not very clear, that I would be directed to a partner website Sykes Holidays to complete the booking. I then had difficulty completing the booking in terms of knowing who I was actually paying my deposit to. There was a delay in receiving confirmation from both hometogo and Sykes, I therefore called Sykes who at the time did not recognise the property ID. Sometime later I received acknowledgement emails from both. So in the end all was OK, but clarity needed on the redirection of payment.

I willgive you full marks when I have paid my deposit and have my booking 100%. This is because I have been let down before.

I haven't yet used HomeToGo directly for a booking but was just looking around to see what was available (during these covid-19 times) and it seems like there are plenty of places to choose from, that's all I can say at the moment, and the prices & availability seemed reasonable. Sorry I can't say much more than that at present, as I am still waiting on some other factors before deciding on any booking.

Hi everything OK, till I came to pay deposit, the page needed to finish off didn't come through to my laptop, I had to copy the heading, paste it into an email and send it to my self, went on my mobile and finished transaction. I had earlier wanted a different booking but same happened,,, so I gave up,, I am now fully booked up thanks 🤗

Booking process fine, but no option for insurance---will have to phone cottages .com to arrange .
