“The website was great and searching was straightforward forward. Plenty of info on the holiday. However, I searched Quidco to see if Home to go was on there, to claim cashback, and it wasn't. Then, when I had placed the booking, the confirmation came through referring to it as a Sykes holiday, which I would've been able to claim cashback on via quidco. I didn't like that it felt misleading and I missed a saving on a significant spend.”

“the booking form was easy but have now got a complication being i filled in the form stating 3 adults 1 child aged 88 and 2 dogs this then gave me the price and a pay it now box which i did then later on i looked at the booked details and it says 2 adults only now not sure if the price is per property or per person if per person the holiday price will go up considerably which we probably cant afford so may have to cancel and look elsewhere at our budget but dont know who to contact ie sykes cottages or the cottage owner ?”

“Plenty of choice and was easy enough but shame you have to pay in full immediately and no option to pay deposit and balance in 4 weeks before. At least all sorted anyway and happy with choice.”

“Very straightforward booking process and apt details etc we’re forwarded very soon after payment. I marked as a 4 as I haven’t used the accommodation yet so the extra star depends on how my stay works out.”

“Overall, the booking experience with HometoGo was good. The booking information was clear and the pictures for the property and other properties we were interested in were good as well. My one reservation was that we had to pay the full rental price straight away, rather than a deposit. I would not have expected that and would need to take it into account in the future.”
