Avoid like the plague if you are a supplier - they have left hundreds being owed hundreds of thousands over the last 3 years . Totally dishonest and unprofessional people and organisation.

This company is a disgrace. I challenged that they had not done the work as per the request, and they kept arguing they did. They finally accepted the work was not done but insisted on charging 2 hours; 1 hour wait time and 1 hour being the minimum time for work. Why the first hour was not counted as the minimum i will leave to other to speculate....this has been painful to get to some version of the truth

Do not use this company. They're expensive, the customer service is substandard and defensive and it was a genuine struggle to get my problem fixed. I was without reliable hot water for 6 weeks and I had to spend a lot of my time arguing. The reports sent back from the engineers to the company were inaccurate and the work was careless. The reply to this comment will be from the guy I had to argue with. I actively discourage use of this company as there's really not much I can say in their favour.

Horrible customer service, very disappointed. I scheduled the serbvice with Homyze trough Amazon and they failed to come to perform the agreed service not one but twice. The Homyze customer service just passed about this issue and finished they canceling the second service half an hour before it should have started. Don't ever trust this company as they can make you loose your time and money without a blink. If you are in contact with a guy from the customer service named Mike, just don't trust him. He said various times I shouldn't have to worried or even "Our policy is that we won't work with guys that we wouldn't leave in our own home so I have every confidence that Richard will leave you happy with the service provided. In addition to this (and hopefully this is the only time we discuss this point!) both Richard and Homyze have public liability insurance to cover any issues that may arise"... and finally they didn't come up to my house the day agreed and cancelled the service half and hour before. This happened the second time they said they will provide me with the service. The first time, they didn't advise neither and it was me pushing them to re-schedule. Very bad.

I did booking on the phone without them seeing the garden; they told me that it was £58 and I have to give bank details to hold the £58 before they send someone, only after the job, they collected £110 without informing us; they said the charge was per hour, which they did not tell us even the gardener did not inform us that it will cost more for a tiny garden because I will say NO. Don’t trust these people with your bank details; they holded £58 but collected more without our approval. This is THEFT; you can not build your business on stealing people.

Hi Felie, Please accept our apologies that it's taken some time to respond to your review. It appears the booking was made under a different name so it took us a while to work out exactly which booking you were referring to. I have listened to the original call made to make this booking and would like to clarify a few points. 1) We did not ask for your bank details at any stage. For all bookings we take card details as security against the booking and a preauthorisation equivalent to 90 minutes labour is placed on the card (£88.20 in this case). 2) You were not told that the work would cost £58. The operator taking the booking told you that our hourly rate is £58.80 and that the final amount would depend on the amount of time taken to complete the work requested. 3) It was made clear that if you wished to have a better idea of the price of this work, you could send photos through to us and we would provide that information. No images of the garden were received before the booking took place. I apologise if any of the above was unclear during that phone call and we will, as always, endeavour to revise how these points are communicated to avoid such issues in future. With regards the work that was completed, I have attached images of the garden before and after our Pro carried out his work. I think 1h53m is a very reasonable amount of time for him to have taken to get the garden to the condition you wanted. I hope this clarifies any concerns you may have regarding your booking with Homyze. Regards, Mike

I made a gardener booking, the time was changed, then the date was changed, then that time was changed and finally cancelled. Was really disappointed.

Hi Issam - we are so sorry about what has transpired and we would like to provide context here as was done to you by phone. To clarify, we asked if you could be flexible on the time tomorrow morning not to advise you that we couldn’t find anyone. One of our gardeners proved not to be up to the standard that we at Homyze strive to deliver. This only happened this afternoon but we did not feel that we could allow him to do any more jobs. Yours was one of his jobs for tomorrow and as a result we have tried to get one of our other gardeners to pick up this (and some other) jobs. As a result, we asked for some flexibility on the timing. Should be called Cowboyze. A bad job and a bad attitude. I had a very bad experience with this company. It took three visits over the course of a week to do two very simple jobs for which I was charged nearly £300. The electrician did not have the right tools or equipment for the first two visits and had not even been told the right job, so cut a totally unecessary hole in my wall. On the third and final visit I had to leave him ‘almost finished’ after an hour and was charge nearly two for the visit in the final bill. I raised issues with Homyze support in three emails they claimed not to receive and then over the phone. A week later they got back to me asking to clarify again, then promptly decided I was wrong about what had happened and charged me anyway. I’m not sure if the job itself or their arrogant and incredibly slow response to feedback was worse. It would have been so very easy to accept they made mistakes and apologise. But Homyze are perfect and so good luck with that.

Hi Ed - thanks so much for taking the time out of your day to write this review. I’m sorry you had anything other than a great experience with your Homyze booking. When you objected to the invoice upon us contacting you to take payment we looked into this thoroughly. We had already recognized that the job description was insufficient when you made the booking and so our engineer had not brought a grinder for what was described as replacing a faceplate and perhaps moving a BT socket a couple of feet. We held our hands up and did not charge for this visit. We came back with the appropriate materials and were then provided with a request to have the BT cabling come into the building through a different point and a box removed from the wall outside. This was done over two visits - the final one being the join of the BT cable and extending it to a new master telephone circuit. The total cost of the works was £267.64 including VAT and the required materials. As per your request the non-electrical work of making good was to be done by yourself. I have tried to contact you to discuss this, because as you say, there appears to be an issue with emails that we have never received. Your email reply came through with no problem, but not any other emails.

Overpriced and did not receive the service that was agreed. Feel badly ripped off. Next time will go straight to electrician. I was quoted a job for £340 which the electrician who was sent told me would normally be billed for £200... When I asked the electrician to put in a couple dimmers that Homyze said would be included in final price when I called them on site, the electrician said he was done for the day and that I would have to pay for that separately as another job. In short, I have been ripped off and the job is not complete. Yes, I am pissed off.

Hi Oliver, thanks for taking the time to leave this feedback and please accept our apologies that you are unhappy with your experience with Homyze. I would like to clarify a few points raised in your reviews. The price of the inspection was confirmed during your initial call on 3rd January. The price did not vary from this amount, and our electrician has confirmed that he did not give any price other than this (our normal) rate for an inspection of this nature. We did also agree to have the electrician assess what was needed to replace your existing switches with dimmers (this cannot always be a straight swap). We did not however agree to carry out the actual work as it was not made clear that you already had the new switches at hand (were it possible to install the switches immediately). If you wish to discuss any of these points then please do get in touch via email or call us on 0203 808 5466. We will always try and do what we can for our customers but do not feel that this is an accurate reflection of the situation.

Booked for TV instalment on the wall ... However the Technician who didn't seem to be an expert hence the job has not been done. In addition, the technician didn't show up for the first appointment because of traffic so needed to rebook. Until now, the TV has not been installed although I have pre-paid for that. I called to complain and they promised to contact me and have not heard from them till now!

Thanks so much for taking the time to write your review. We are so sorry that your experience was anything less than perfect. We do hundreds and hundreds of jobs every month and unfortunately, in co-ordinating our trade professionals around London we do on occasion encounter traffic issues (amongst others!). We did of course call you to advise and suggest us returning the next morning which we understood was more than acceptable. When we turned up, unfortunately the bracket you advised us had been received was in fact not yet delivered. We offered to use the bracket that you already had but it was obviously not made for purpose - something of which we did advise. Given you did not have the bracket, we were not actually paid for the installation service. We are very sorry for any role we may have played in this less than ideal experience.

Promrised a refund over charged me not received or promrise not fulfilled the job wasnt completed to a standard of what was expected

horrible. The electrician took 6 hours to do the job i lost the whole day waiting and he didnt even say how long the job would take so i didnt know how much would i have to pay. i ended up paying a fortune.

The electrician did turn up bang on the booked time but I understand that the job may have been bigger than you initially expected. As yo know, we do reach out to all our customers once the job is complete to ensure that things are ok, and when you advised that they were we did not follow up.
