“I was interested in buying a property which had been on the market for a while. I told the agent that I was looking at the property as an airbnb investment. The estate agent asked for final offers by a date which I made. The agent then extended the date to others and told me they accepted a lower cash offer to a family. However, I have now seen that the property is on airbnb. The estate agent took my idea and sold it to others and then lied to me about who it was sold to.
I feel let down. It's not nice when people aren't honest with you.”
