We was happy where we was i Chindit 2, but I desperately needed ground floor and even though the scheme manager knew of this and internal move did not happen. She knew of my health conditions surrounding my lungs and heart and I'm down as chronic heart failure I was still upstairs and there was no life in Chindit 2 so I had to leave and moved to another area into a bungalow just for lvl access if they had offered me a ground floor flat I would have stayed, and I know to 4 flats that was available at that time. So 3 stars for the duty of care but I'd have given the rest a 5 star review

me and my wife have been care21 tenants since 2016. but have had issues around overheated flats, no proper air induction, the take down of 4 vital evergreen pines that is a roosting place for our many birds. the manager said it was because of a business complained about them. but the impact to our own Wildlife, has been almost horrific. I still wonder if the council did a environment check on the impact of removing evergreens. I want to move but cant, disabled little money, poor health etc. Our court has had many issues with it outside environment. it just doesnt care about the quality and inclusiveness of our natural habitat outside the door, even though its land in front and rear is quite extensive, no improvement work has been done, its been left this way since 2016. I asked for swift bricks to be placed in top of the court, to encourage swift population. (No reply) i asked for proper gardeners to sow and feed and look after plants instead of lawn mower (we have no lawns all now Moss!!) No reply. I am now writing a third letter stating that our flats are old and overheat even in september, urgent work to get flats cool again is needed. Finance is far to expensive rent are silly, and we have to pay half our pension every week because housing benefit is so low it wont cover even half the rent at our age. there is a lack by residents not to be inclusive to whats going on. but are happy to take free meals at Halloween or christmas. but again, its the complete lack of care to provide residents with wheel chair high flower beds to work on. there is a distinct lack of understanding when it comes to feeding our many birds, they keep saying rats , I have never seen ONE in 8 years!! You may see one when there has been extensive flooding due to heavy rain. but rats prefer fast food, not bird peanuts or fat balls. Why thay have this negative attitude to our own wildlife is hard for me, as senior RSPB member and of Lancashire Wildlife trust and a member of Entomology society. Care 21 has not contributed any flowers or bulbs at all in 8 years. why is it left to a very few like me to shell out my pension on hanging baskets and border flowers and fresh soil when its not my place to.???

Relocating to Forest Hall H21 won't resolve any problems you may have with other tenants. One resident has been abusing and being hostile toward my mother for months. She has complained, but nothing has been done. I am grateful to C O N C E P T S T R D.C O.M for their assistance.

I'm new been here a year now, the flat I live in has a beautiful view, trees, shrubs, birds, for where I live you wouldn't think it, Dinnington Chindit Court. Was surprised when we viewed it, large rooms good view quiet where we are. Court manager always up for a chat and helpful, even helped me get help towards a cooker from helping hands, so grateful. Only negative would be they're more expensive than some places I've lived, but here is looked after better, repairs sorted quickly, you got to add up what you need/want

Don't move to Forest Hall H21, if there's any issues with other residents it won't be sorted. My Mum has had to endure months of hatred & aggression towards her from 1 resident, made a complaint, nothing done.

Housing 21 primarily a money making venture favouring the extra care residents. Various building problems which u would not expect from a new development. Continual paperwork coming through Ur door mainly invoices and management that doesn't manage. Complaints procedure pathetic it seems that the people with the loudest voices and obstructive behaviour get what they want. All in all surprisingly disappointing!!

They have an awful habit of when they’ve taken what they need from you, you are then thrown away like trash …. They then feel the need to continue to bully & abuse disgusting company “care” should be removed from their company name !

Housing 21 are bullies. No doubt that I shall receive another hate mail from them, in a way of fake rent arrears So pleased that my case is still opened with the Housing Ombudsmen , since Aug 2022 Their polices are non existent . They favour the bigger players who pay more in rent and have lived here for 10yrs +

HOUSING 21 ARE OVERCHARGING ALL RESIDENTS AT PROSPECT PLACE. THE SEVICE CHARGES ARE TOO HIGH AND THE REPAIRS TAKE TOO LONG TO DO, THE ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVURE IS TOO MUCH TO BARE AND YOU ARE TOLD TO LOCK YOURSELF IN TO KEEP YOURSELF SAFE, YOUR PARCELS ARE TAMPERED WITH WHEN LEFT OUTSIDE YOUR DOORSS. THIS IS NOT A NICE PLACE TO LIVE AS I WAS DUMPED IN HERE AND AM FIGHTING TO GET OUT AS I HAVE APPIED TO THE COUNCIL WHO DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVURE THAT WE ARE PUTTING UP WITH OR DOCTORS LETTERS THAT SAY THIS IS AN UNSUITABLE PLACE FOR ME TO BE LIVING IN AS IT IS AFFECTING MY HEALTH.

As was said "rather amusing but deeply saddened". Should this tenant be so unhappy, can I suggest that she finds alternative accommodation where she will feel more comfortable. Telling the Truth

I am somewhat amused, but slightly saddened by the person who is writing negative reviews under a "nom de plume". I am referring to the person who is writing "on behalf of" a single woman of African heritage who is experiencing so much trouble in Ebbage Court. I am deeply saddened by the way this woman feels, however Eɓbage Court has had in the past, various people of different races/nationalities/political persuasions to reside there, all with no animosity. Yes, with every retirement Ebbage Court one is going to find certain people who do not hold your "world view" but you are inclined to mix with people that hold a similar "world view". There are certain cliques in Ebbage Court due to this fact. From what I understand, this person was welcomed into Ebbage Court and some tenants assisted her with items of furniture etc to help her settle in. There is no racial discrimination there. However, speaking to other tenants who are known to me, I see that there is a certain amount of animosity between a few from one group towards a single person in another group. This has been brought on by multiple false reports made by the person from the one group concerning the individual in the other group In one case the person in the first group made a complaint about the person in the other group and this complaint related to a time when the complainee was in hospital, thus causing management to consider prior complaints as suspect. Now, having listened to the complaints from the other party I am of the opinion that they relate to a incident many years ago and it is time that both parties put the spat to rest and were civil to each other. This is the only issue that this Court that I have, currently, prior to the woman of African descent taking up residence. This person seems to have gone out of her way to try and create racial incidents. She then reported these racial incidents as though SHE is the person who has been racially abused. Instead she is the instigator. Generally the people in this Court seem to get on well with each other and are hospitable to new tenants. As for the spat, it can easily be ignored and life can be lived in an amicable way in the Court. I suggest, if you are considering this Court that you take into account its positioning: 13 minutes walk from town, its gardens, the lovely flats and the multiple people who keep free of the minor spats. I have given to understand that people will not try to include her, as they are fearful that ANYTHING that is done or said will be misconstrued and that she will raise a false complaint against them. Trustpilot reviews Thanks for your review! Housing 21 M Si 2 reviews GB Rated 1 out of 5 stars Updated just now Victimised for whistle blowing Update. Housing 21 did not repond to my recent complaint ( pref a chat) nor provided evidence of my misconduct I have now forwarded my emails of communications to the Housing Ombudsman. This landlord sends out too many threats of eviction. In October, cause i emailed official complaint & CC the local MP. Same anti social drunk residents & i complained. A torn paper/ 4 wks in arreas Wow..seems that there are others out there who have been victimised for daring to send emails of complaints . Your elderly loved are safer living elsewhere. Housing 21 is supposed to be independent living property, but many live here in a none extra care premises and hire domiciliary carer Is it any wonder why you can apply to live here directly and are not referred via the local authority? Just as well that they are regulated who communicates with the Housing Ombudsman. CQC can step in as this is a building for the vulnerable and elderly The Woking, Surrey Court managers and area manager work hand in hand in a cover up of lies and intimidation. Do not apply to live here. Since I moved in last year, I had noticed the court manager recollection varied along with wrongley advising me. When I make a mistake, I hold my hand up. I have never heard them say sorry, I should not of advised that or sorry I cannot remember saying that rather than just denying. There is no accountability and so no closure. Absolutely abhorrent If you dare to complain or give negative feedback, you will receive emails of wild unfounded accusations and intimidation and threats oh and threats of eviction of one month rent arrears. Most tenants are in arrears as they pay monthly and rents are charged weekly. If you receive housing benefit, it is the same In one email that I just I received, It was another threat and made up complaint from a resident. It made up the area manager because I sent a copy of a text I had sent to her early that morning to her manager. It confirmed I was not told by the court manager that my crochet group friends of no more than 5 or 6 could not enter the premises. The organiser of the group had met the court manager on 15th June 2023. It was agreed they could come. I was even told I could hold none resident dinner parties, at a cost of £15.00 to use the communal kitchen & sit down. Otherwise, it would be the live-in residents paying the costs. Then I received a Housing 21 email asking me to complete a survey about last year's complaint. I did not open the survey, just reiterated what happened and that I am still experiencing drunken anti social behaviour from the same person late at night. Housing 21 never asked to view my footage when I returned to the flat to grab my phone. I also said I asked Housing 21 regulators if it is OK to call the police if you keep experiencing drunken late night anti social behaviour. The regulators agreed. But also advised to follow guidelines. It was this feedback that set the chain of events. With the court manager complaing . Why? I am the victim No evidence of an internal investigation by a 3rd party Instead, I am receiving intimidating threats of not to have my phone and I had been filming people with my camcorder and causing stress. No resident has ever come forward with such claims. If is Housing 21, who by the way cannot verify the colour, make and model of my small camcorder. The claims were unfounded and would be thrown out of court. Housing 21 has never managed anti-social behaviour but they like to intimidate and victimise residents who whistle blowing, to silence us. Interesting, they pinned up on the laundry room wall a Charter of respect individuals, individuals should feel safe and individuals can whistle blow. So, going back to the copy of the text I emailed to the operation manager, saying thank you for advising that the court insurance polices are pinned up on notice board. I said I will adhere to them. I also said the court manager complained to her area manager that my crochet team of 5 were sat in the communal lounge with other residents. What crime had we committed?? We weren't told they could not enter the premises and the group were just middle-aged women. it took the area manager around 20 mins to send me another intimidating email advising that she has just received another complaint, ( lies) warned me of intimidation and warned me not to breach the building insurance by having friends round It was almost like Housing 21 walked straight into what I was expecting. Their recent request asking us to complete a survey is a farce. As you can see, our responses needs to be positive. These are elderly vulnerable residents that don't want any trouble I suspect the elderly were helped to complete their survey by the court manager My victimisation Happened 2022 and again 2023 & The first one triggered my panic attack. Now, I am ready to take them on and get the he'll o Date of experience: 09 May 2023 Edit Reply from Housing 21 11 Jul 2023 Thank you for your message; we actively encourage feedback from all residents (including positive comments and areas for improvement) so we can ensure we are delivering the best possible service for our residents at all times. Their website shows a beautiful pond at Pardoe Court, Burscough, unfortunately, when I viewed the property with my mother this was nothing like the photos on their website. The pond was dirty, unkempt, overgrown and scummy. There were dirty plastic bowls on the pond edge and a pile of vegetable matter which I presume was feed for the numerous ugly black and white pet ducks they have. Certainly not a sight my mother would like out of her window.
