"We did the 5 day Humpback Whale swimming with Ali and Esau. It was amazing! I can not say enough great about it. They were so knowledgable and respectful towards the whales. They also got excited with us throughout the week. It really made our trip the best ever! Alistair met with us to make sure we had all we needed and to help in anyway he could. We would highly recommend this once in a lifetime experience!!! "

"This was our second trip with Nadia and Scuba Diver Life Expeditions (March 2024 in Dominica) and we continue to value these life-experience trips as top-notch. Nadia and her on-site team excel at making everything easy - from airport transfers, to excellent lodging, to the boat and the actual in-water experiences. At La Ventana last week for Orca and other mega-fauna, our experiences was world-class. First, above water - the luxurious beach front home that we stayed in was 5-star all around. From the private bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, to the gourmet kitchen, to the spacious living areas, and especially the outdoor patio with private pool and hot tub - it was all amazing, including the in-house chef and housekeeping. To the main event - the in-water experiences with mega-fauna, this exceeded our wildest dreams. First, the boat was very comfortable and fun, and Captain Armando and Mate Peter were incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the sea life, and were just all around friendly and nice people to spend the week with. We went hoping to get a few free dives in with Orca, but WOW!, we accumulated 8 hours of time with Orca with over 30+ drops of in-water, up-close, mind-blowing Orca encounters over 2 days. Beyond that once-in-a-lifetime success, we had top-notch in-water encounters with a mega-pod of Pilot Whales, a Brydes Whale, various species of Manta Rays, 3 species of dolphin, sea lines, and Silky sharks. In aggregate, it was my best ocean-exploring week of my life and all wrapped in 5-star luxury and comfort. Can't wait to complete the trifecta and next experience Scuba Diver Life's Tonga expedition with Humpback Whales."

"Baja was amazing! The variety of wild sea life exceeded my expectations, and every day was full of surprises. The house was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and well-stocked. The crew was full of excellent information about the sea of Cortez and all of it\u2019s resident species, I always love learning new facts about ocean wildlife. \r\nOrca\/Fin\/blue\/humpback\/ Bairds beaked whales were all present during our trip, as well as countless dolphins, mobula rays, mantas, marlin, sea lions, turtles and lots of fun small fish on the reefs. Our day with orcas was absolutely wild! Definitely a dream to experience such a powerful display of intelligence, coordination and grace for allowing us to witness and join their hunt. "

"What an amazing adventure! I got SO close to this inquisitive and playful whale calf and we stayed there for over an hour!\r\nWe had 4 great days of whale encounters, and on the less spectacular day, when the seas got rougher, or when we were just fulfilled with our whale swims, our guys took us to a great reef to snorkel or to a deserted island to just chill. There was another group that was younger and they encountered a competition pod, so a group would jump in the water, watch them pass, get back in the boat to be taken ahead of the pod, then another group would jump in. They can accomodate whatever the group wants..we were more into more sedate encounters, including one with a singing male whose song caused reverberations in my chest! \r\nI would absolutely encourage you to get the four passenger trip...there was no waiting for our turn to get in the water, unless there happened to be another boat wanting a turn, but we left very early and were the first ones to find the whales, so that by noon most every day we were ready to come back and explore the island. Ali and Ili were awesome at finding whales and making sure we had the best experience. The boat was comfortable and quick and so much better than my experience in the Silver Banks off the Dominican Republic.\r\nThe people of Tonga were so friendly and I really enjoyed going to Catholic Mass on Sunday and hearing the Tongan choir!\r\nOur accomodations were very comfortable and private, and we even had our own sow and piglets using our carport to rest. Bob picked us up at the airport and made sure we knew our way around Vava'u, reminding us that they drove on the other side of the road....did I mention we had use of a car while we were there?! We had breakfast cooked for us each morning before we left, in addition to daily housekeeping service.\r\nI am so glad I decided to make this trip! My photos weren't great but the memories were awesome!!\r\nI would definitely encourage you to tack on a few days in Fiji on the way back, because our layover at the small Fiji airport was like 9 hours long and there wasn't much to do...I didn't want to have to cart all my luggage with me, hoping to find a place to get a massage, though planning ahead it probably wouldn't have been too difficult. \r\nThe experience was phenomenal and Nadia and everyone on her team was so helpful!"
