“This is the worst company I have come across.
Last Saturday our oven broke, 1 year and 3 days after we bought it. Why an oven lasts only 12 months is beyond me but alas, it is out of the 12 month guarantee so we had to order a new part.
The part was ordered with next day delivery so was expected to arrive on Tuesday given we ordered on the weekend. Tuesday came and went and no part. I contacted Indesit on Wednesday morning who said the part had been shipped, but was stuck at Hermes (another useless company in my opinion). I called Indesit again later in the day who said Hermes were having problems with their system but the part would be delivered on Thursday.
Thursday morning there was still no progress on our delivery as per Hermes website, so again I called Indesit. Hedging my bets I re-ordered the part from Indesit customer service who said they would use DPD for next day delivery. I called again later in the day to ensure everything was on track and was assured my part would arrive on Friday.
Friday morning has come and gone, so a follow up call was placed with Indesit to check on the progress of my delivery. It was at this point that I was told, sorry, we do not have that part in stock and cannot get it to you until next year. Quite what has changed from 16:30 on Thursday to 11:00 on Friday is beyond me. At no point from Saturday to Thursday evening was there any indication the part was out of stock. What they hell kind of stock management system are Indesit running?
If I never have to deal with Indesit again in my life I will be a very happy man.”
“Terrible experience with this company. I bought a vented Indesit tumble dryer from them 7 weeks ago and it keeps cutting out intermittently. I have to stand over it and keep trying to restart it; sometimes it behaves but often it doesn't so each drying session takes about 5 hours!! The clothes also come out smelling rank and excessively creased. I'm a single working parent who's not got time for this. After incorrectly telling me Curry's, as the place of purchase, could sort out a refund or exchange, they sent out an engineer. Of course the machine behaved when he was stood over it but is now back to intermittently stopping and the clothes still smell stale. They won't give an uplift number needed by Curry's and Curry's keep sending me back to Hotpoint. Neither company will take responsibility for this defective machine. Rubbish customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.”
“Shocking. Wish I cold give less than one star. Quick to take my money for a care package, as soon as something goes wrong it’s impossible to get a repair.

“My fridge broke down i called me insurers who put me through to Indesit to book a repair. The engineer came out and said he ordered the part. 3 days later the engineer came out again and explained that the fault was misdiagnosed and i needed a different part, that was out of stock and would take 3 months to come. Have phone Indesit 3 time but i have no fridge yet and am having to queue outside a supermarket for my milk daily 😠”
“Their dishwasher broke down after just over a years use, they charge £120.00 for a so called engineer to come and say it was not faulty at sale and "mend" it. Their attitude is arrogant and unhelpful, I would say do not buy one their cheaply made unreliable appliances (hotpoint, whirlpool,indesit)”

Bougth an INDESIT washer dryer from CURRYS online.
2 months old washer dryer , dryer it's faulty, it never worker.
Engeneers booked 5 times in 3 weeks and never showed up. They just found excuses for not coming and check my washing machine, they do not want to work, they lazy and unhelpful. People at the phone/live chat unsympathetic.
Hopefully tomorrow the 6th time will be the lucky one. Very bad customer service.
PS Only because CURRYS is not helpful in taking back the washing machine, I would prefer to get an LG as I used to have, good machine and good customer service.”
“Washing machine broke down after 15 months. Company wanted £120 up front before they would send out an engineer. 5 years parts cover but would only guarantee any NEW parts fitted for 3 months. Call centre just hung up on me when I refused to pay up front. No customer service at all with rude and uncaring staff.
Avoid this brand, as it appears their products are not up to the job they are designed for!”
