“Shocking company. One month old Cooker fan cuts out all the time and have had 2 engineers visits and they tried to tell us this was a ‘feature’ of this cooker and it couldn’t be repaired!! There is a nonexistent customer care team who are flatly refusing to replace this cooker. Spend your hard earned cash elsewhere and do not buy products from this dreadful company”
“We had an issue with our washing machine and booked an appointment with Indesit. When the engineer called to ask about parking, I advised him to park in the area or near the nearby mosque. He responded very rudely, telling me to park my car there so he could use our parking space. He then threatened that I would need to book another appointment if he couldn’t find parking. His attitude was upsetting and highly unprofessional.”
“7 Month old Indesit washing machine, problem with Load Balancing System. Does not always spin when it should or does not spin properly. 1400 spin cycle machine. Started occasionally not spinning after wash but has gotten worse and more frequent. Told by Indesit engineer their is nothing they can do, it is not a fault, the machine is doing what it was designed to do, NOT SPIN. You buy a washing machine to wash and spin laundry but Indesit put a sensor in that over rides the programme you set. Then they tell you, you are not supposed to wash this sort of load or that sort of load. I have had various washing machines over many years and never came across this sort of idiocy. A washing machine should be able to wash all sorts of loads or single items.”
“Customer service is appalling. I purchased a washing machine from Indesit. Within 3 months the machine stopped working. The helpline is a joke, they just try to sell you more insurance products. Booked a repair, the first available time was 9 days after I called the helpline. I told them it was a door fault, yet the engineer arrived with no parts to fix a door fault. Was told the part would need to be ordered, the part came in the next day (as they emailed me to tell me) then tried to book the engineer again, only to find out that there are no appointments for another 11 days. So 20 days to make a simple door catch repair on a washing machine. In the meantime all of our washing has to be done at the launderette, and 2 days have to be taken off work. It would have been cheaper to just buy another washing machine.”
“Purchased an 8kg washing machine which I don't want to use. The washer itself doesn't move out of place but we can hear it outside the house, engineer came nothing I can with it, it's a bung type thing at back of drum banging on the outer shell of washer or an uneven load 🙄 I've been using a washing machine for 50 years so I'm sure I've not got sawdust between my ears and dont need intructing how to load a washing machine. Told to do full loads, why have a lots of programmes (like having a car with 5 gears and told to use 1). Not fit for purpose product. Feel as if I've been ripped off for £269. Only thing you get is take this plan out or cover you product for an extra ££s. Nobody needs hassle with a new product. Plus if I want a 2nd engineer £75 for the privilege.”
“Purchased an indesit washing machine from appliances direct less than 2 months ago. Broke down, had to wait 8 days for an engineer to come. Stated what we already knew such F2 fault and needed a new motor. No motors in stock until after Christmas. Now been given the run around and fibbed off and told to contact the manufacturer. Not upto us to contact the manufacturer. Now getting trading standards involved. Avoid like the plague.
Now 13days without a washing machine. Lots of washing stuck in the drum, been having to use a launderette. They don't compensate for the wasted washing in the drum that is now mouldy and the cost of the launderettes.”
“If I would have a chance to give them -100 I must give them the -100 rating. Don't buy from them because their warranty is a scam and thier customer service doesn't have any solutions. The product even doesn't work 3 years properly and it's just a wastage of money. I have bought a combi which stopped working under the warranty time. They have sent a technician after so many calls and requests and he informed us that This product needs to change. We have received a letter of exchange fridge as they don't have the same product so we can buy any other fridge from. Seller. I went to the seller and they have refused to entertain us because they said it's a 3rd party warranty so indisit will give you a new product. So I have asked them again . Since then it been 3 months that I am calling both of them and email them to resolve my problem but there is no solution. It's like a ping pong nobody gave me the fridge and even talked with each other to resolve our problem. It's like the warranty system is a scam and nobody wants to take responsibility. It's like the whole amount is a waste and I need to buy something new.”

“I bought an indesit cooker and after 1 year 6 months the grill stopped working and the oven door came off. I bought it from PC world who couldnt have cared less so i wrote a review on other platforms both about pc world and indesit. Indesit replied to that review telling me to reach out to them on the phone number provided. I rang several times but the answerphone message gave a link to click on which i did. when i contacted their online support it led me to a website wanting my credit card details to chat to one of their engineers as there was a charge!!!!! so much for indesit support!! It isnt free.”
“Mi lavadora tiene un poco mas de un año y esta bajo garantia. Se daño, el tecnico vino y cambio una placa. Cuando la trate de usar de nuevo tuve el mismo problema anterior. El tecnico vino de nuevo, corrio unos diagnosticos y dictamino que la lavadora no tenia nada malo. Que posiblemente "yo habia usado demasiado detergente". Cuando me pasó la factura me negue a pagar hasta que yo usara la lavadora y verificara su funcionamiento correcto. Dicho y hecho, la maquina no funcionó correctamente.
Ahora Indesit se niega a prestarme ayuda por no haber pagado la factura del tecnico (que en su visita habia dicho que la lavadora estaba en perfecto estado.)
Nunca mas voy a comprar nada de esta marca.”

Got two visits from engineers, the first one was assessed I needed a new drum, with a budget of 75£. I was contacted later, by indesit to get an insurance plan that was offering me coverage and the repair money for 74£ - which I took because it seemed better.
On the second visit from the engineer, with no checks carried out on the washing machine he decided to change the rubber seal. Until now, I got no explanations to why this happened and they don’t disclose the budget difference.”

“If I could put 0 stars I would ,i purchased a washing machine within 6 days it broke I rang for repair and had to wait 1 month for it to be completed .9 months later its broke agian now I'm expected to wait 2 and a half months for them to repair it ,when engineer attended he was rude and unhelpful qe then got to the parts wernt in stock and we would have to wait another month for them to be available. Tried to log a complaint with the company 3 times now and it's near impossible to do all you get are meaningless apologies AVOID AVOID AVOID !!!”
“on Tuesday 28th November i had a brand new indesit MTWC91295WUKN installed, on 1st December i attempted laundry i managed to do one load before it blew my electrics, and the door jammed, i spent most of Friday afternoon on indesit chat going round in circles or trying to call 4466 (7 times in total) 7 times i was told they couldn't take my call and i was cut off. i then contacted the store who were really nice and tried to help me, and i have an engineer booked in 6 days if they show up.
I won't be buying indesit again, and i recommend nobody does.”
“Shocking experience with Indesit , bought a tumble dryer and it failed 3 times in the 12 month warranty as told I would have a replacement on 3rd mechanical failure but now gone against their word. Customer service is terrible, they will put the phones down on you!!! And you are not allowed to speak to a manager. There is no complaint lines you can go down, the gentleman I wanted to complain about I had to phone the same number as when I spoke to him. …..ADVICE ——- STAY AWAY FROM INDESIT!!!”
“I bought an indesit washing in March this year, worst machine i have ever purchased..
We have had a leak from under the machine for last 2 weeks, when i say leak, i mean water everywhere, towels and sheets to soak it up, lifted all the tiles. 4 times we have had engineers and still no further.

“We had our indesit dryer delivered on the 29/8/23by curry's stockport peel Centre this dryer set fire to the socket on the 31/8/23 an electrician came and said no fault with the socket curry's say we have to wait until next Thursday for their engineer this is ridiculous , we have been put at risk by a faulty dryer”
“Really surprised by the hard sell, when trying to register my tumble dryer. Would not register it without continuing to tell me it’s £120 call out even in 1st year if I did not take out cover. Really disappointing especially as machine is only worth £200. Won’t be buying indistinguishable again. The person on the phone just would not listen or be helpful once told him I did not want insurance.”
