“I bought an indesit cooker and after 1 year 6 months the grill stopped working and the oven door came off. I bought it from PC world who couldnt have cared less so i wrote a review on other platforms both about pc world and indesit. Indesit replied to that review telling me to reach out to them on the phone number provided. I rang several times but the answerphone message gave a link to click on which i did. when i contacted their online support it led me to a website wanting my credit card details to chat to one of their engineers as there was a charge!!!!! so much for indesit support!! It isnt free.”
“Mi lavadora tiene un poco mas de un año y esta bajo garantia. Se daño, el tecnico vino y cambio una placa. Cuando la trate de usar de nuevo tuve el mismo problema anterior. El tecnico vino de nuevo, corrio unos diagnosticos y dictamino que la lavadora no tenia nada malo. Que posiblemente "yo habia usado demasiado detergente". Cuando me pasó la factura me negue a pagar hasta que yo usara la lavadora y verificara su funcionamiento correcto. Dicho y hecho, la maquina no funcionó correctamente.
Ahora Indesit se niega a prestarme ayuda por no haber pagado la factura del tecnico (que en su visita habia dicho que la lavadora estaba en perfecto estado.)
Nunca mas voy a comprar nada de esta marca.”

Got two visits from engineers, the first one was assessed I needed a new drum, with a budget of 75£. I was contacted later, by indesit to get an insurance plan that was offering me coverage and the repair money for 74£ - which I took because it seemed better.
On the second visit from the engineer, with no checks carried out on the washing machine he decided to change the rubber seal. Until now, I got no explanations to why this happened and they don’t disclose the budget difference.”

“If I could put 0 stars I would ,i purchased a washing machine within 6 days it broke I rang for repair and had to wait 1 month for it to be completed .9 months later its broke agian now I'm expected to wait 2 and a half months for them to repair it ,when engineer attended he was rude and unhelpful qe then got to the parts wernt in stock and we would have to wait another month for them to be available. “on Tuesday 28th November i had a brand new indesit MTWC91295WUKN installed, on 1st December i attempted laundry i managed to do one load before it blew my electrics, and the door jammed, i spent most of Friday afternoon on indesit chat going round in circles or trying to call 4466 (7 times in total) 7 times i was told they couldn't take my call and i was cut off. i then contacted the store who were really nice and tried to help me, and i have an engineer booked in 6 days if they show up.
I won't be buying indesit again, and i recommend nobody does.”
“Shocking experience with Indesit , bought a tumble dryer and it failed 3 times in the 12 month warranty as told I would have a replacement on 3rd mechanical failure but now gone against their word. Customer service is terrible, they will put the phones down on you!!! And you are not allowed to speak to a manager. “I bought an indesit washing in March this year, worst machine i have ever purchased..
We have had a leak from under the machine for last 2 weeks, when i say leak, i mean water everywhere, towels and sheets to soak it up, lifted all the tiles. 4 times we have had engineers and still no further.

“We had our indesit dryer delivered on the 29/8/23by curry's stockport peel Centre this dryer set fire to the socket on the 31/8/23 an electrician came and said no fault with the socket curry's say we have to wait until next Thursday for their engineer this is ridiculous , we have been put at risk by a faulty dryer”

We bought a tumble dryer from a local store thinking local shop + UK company would be better for the economy that shopping online and buying a german model such as Bosch.
How wrong I was.
Within 2 months there was an error on the machine.
Customer support phone line was a voicemail saying they weren't answering calls (this is a 9.30am on the Thursday morning) so go via live chat.
Live chat never got replied to, just a repeated message saying the wait time is a few minutes.
Whatsapp never got replied to.
Direct message on Twitter .... never got replied to.
Absolute mess.
Do yourself a favour, buy a German made machine.”

“Failure on many counts
I have had my brand new INDESIT induction hob since November 2021.
I had my first problem with it in May of 2022. called to report it immediately.
I’m really appalled by the service provided in terms of guaranteeing the product.
I have had multiple engineer visit and cancelled appointments in the space of a month, as yet no one can fix it, replace it or find the part needed to mend it.
Yesterday the engineer left with the hob still broken, no date of next visit and no assurance that the part we needed could be sourced anytime soon.
So effectively I am left without a hob indefinitely.
INDESIT are refusing to give a partial refund which would allow me to purchase a temporary hot plate so my family have been without an essential item for over a month.
This does not fill me with confidence in purchasing another appliance from the company.”

“This is the worst company I have come across.
Last Saturday our oven broke, 1 year and 3 days after we bought it. Why an oven lasts only 12 months is beyond me but alas, it is out of the 12 month guarantee so we had to order a new part.
The part was ordered with next day delivery so was expected to arrive on Tuesday given we ordered on the weekend. Tuesday came and went and no part. I contacted Indesit on Wednesday morning who said the part had been shipped, but was stuck at Hermes (another useless company in my opinion). I called Indesit again later in the day who said Hermes were having problems with their system but the part would be delivered on Thursday.
Thursday morning there was still no progress on our delivery as per Hermes website, so again I called Indesit. Hedging my bets I re-ordered the part from Indesit customer service who said they would use DPD for next day delivery. I called again later in the day to ensure everything was on track and was assured my part would arrive on Friday.
Friday morning has come and gone, so a follow up call was placed with Indesit to check on the progress of my delivery. It was at this point that I was told, sorry, we do not have that part in stock and cannot get it to you until next year. Quite what has changed from 16:30 on Thursday to 11:00 on Friday is beyond me. At no point from Saturday to Thursday evening was there any indication the part was out of stock. What they hell kind of stock management system are Indesit running?
If I never have to deal with Indesit again in my life I will be a very happy man.”
“Terrible experience with this company. I bought a vented Indesit tumble dryer from them 7 weeks ago and it keeps cutting out intermittently. I have to stand over it and keep trying to restart it; sometimes it behaves but often it doesn't so each drying session takes about 5 hours!! The clothes also come out smelling rank and excessively creased. I'm a single working parent who's not got time for this. After incorrectly telling me Curry's, as the place of purchase, could sort out a refund or exchange, they sent out an engineer. Of course the machine behaved when he was stood over it but is now back to intermittently stopping and the clothes still smell stale. They won't give an uplift number needed by Curry's and Curry's keep sending me back to Hotpoint. Neither company will take responsibility for this defective machine. Rubbish customer service. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.”
