“We've installed Indow inserts in 9 of our 1840s Airbnb farmhouse windows. We wanted to keep the integrity of the old windows and glass. The inserts were a perfect solution. Not only do the white frames blend beautifully with the existing trim they've already proven to be effective in our cold windy central New York weather. The support and guidance for planning, ordering and installing was top notch, Ryan and his crew were great communicators throughout the entire process. Thank you!”

“I am really enjoying my Indow Windows. I live on a busy street and always have a lot of noise from street and foot traffic as well as construction. I live in an old building so my windows are old and thin and poorly insulated. I got the acoustic grade as I wanted to cut out sound as well as cold. The noise reduction is pretty good. I still get a lot of noise, but it's dampened which makes it a lot more tolerable. Things like construction and fire trucks are no longer the jarring experiences they were and are now just background noise. The warmth seems to be staying in better too and it feels as though I need to run my heater less. If I had to purchase them again, I definitely would.”

“One of my indows got damaged in transit but customer service was great. A replacement is on its' way. Product has cut noise meaningfully and also cold too. A little pricy buy they work as advertised.”

“They are perfect. They have blocked the air leaking through our 90 year old original windows. They look great, not detracting from the original woodwork. The support from everyone I spoke with at Indow was great. Everyone knew their product really well. Terrific product.”

“Honestly, this is a great company. Great customer service! Orlin was available to answer any questions. I worked directly with the Indow factory since I don't have any reps in my area, and the process of measuring for the inserts was painless, simple, and smooth. They arrived in well-protected boxed, and the Indow inserts were perfect when we installed them. Easy directions to self-install. Keeping our original wood windows in our old house was important to us (they're so pretty), but now they are both pretty and draft-free. Thank you, Indow!”

“I live off a very busy street. I got 4 Indows for the side of the house which faces the road. I knew I had a jalousie door which I can't do much about and a sliding glass door in the back which I did not include so I knew I wasn't going to be completely soundproof. I took decibel readings before and after installation and I am satisfied with the 25% noise reduction. It's the difference between sounding like you live 'on' the interstate vs. living 'near' the interstate.Jacki Vile”

“I have a home studio that I Use, but unfortunately it’s located right next to a busy street. My acoustic insert significantly reduced the outside noise. The only sound I hear now from outside is occasional low frequencies from trucks or really loud sirens. However I think those are because of the low notes resonating with the walls them selves and nothing to do with the insert. The insert is performing its job wonderfully and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is in a similar situation to me.”

“Indow window didn’t reduce noise train. I installed it in master bedroom but I can still hear the noise. My permanent window is never been open since I move in. With or without indow, I can still hear the noise, useless to have it installed.”

Hello and thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I am sorry to hear that the acoustic panels are not effective for you. As a note, our panels in general will not completely block out all noise but in most cases a reduction is heard. When sound is not reduced, it may be that it is coming into your room through other sources, such as your walls. “The indow windows fit extremely well in our 1700's colonial home. They are very clear and we are able to visualize the outside perfectly. We're hoping for a much warmer New England winter inside.”
