After only 6 weeks of once or twice weekly sessions, my daughter increased her ACT by 3 points. Tutor was exceptional and kept a tired and distracted kid engaged!

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience, and we're thrilled we were able to help move her score by so much in a limited amount of time. We work hard every day to refine the techniques we teach, and it's always gratifying to hear how that work has paid off. Our daughter worked with a tutor for just a few weeks and had an increase in her scores. If we had more time we might have selected a tutor more similar to her learning style. But we would use the service again for sure.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience. Even after more than three decades in the test prep business, we’re still learning, and feedback from students and parents is a huge part of that process. We're thrilled to hear your daughter's scores moved in the few weeks we had the privilege of working with her, and we promise that should you choose to work with us again, we'll make certain to find the tutor who most perfectly fits her learning style. Thanks for trusting us with this part of her education, and should you ever need our help again, we'll be here for you!

We had a fantastic experience with Inspirica. Our son’s tutor, Julie, was the perfect match for him and his specific test prep needs. She truly customized his prep plan and the results reflected that conscientious approach and attention to the details. Additionally, the materials and tools for him to study on his own further bolstered his prep, skills, and confidence. The only negative I can offer is the price point seems exorbitant. I appreciate why the services are priced where they are. And, yes — we were willing to pay up for the excellent Inspirica result. But to be so much more expensive than the other (albeit lesser) test prep services was a slightly bitter pill to swallow.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience, and to let us know how much you liked working with Julie. Providing high-quality one-on-one tutoring services isn't easy, and that's why our prices tend to be more than those of our competitors. We know that limits the number of students we can help, so we've worked hard over the past year to find ways to reduce costs without sacrificing quality, the results of which can be seen in our new tutoring center in Wellesley and in the array of much lower cost small-group classes we offer online. Should you ever choose to work with us again, we're confident that you'll be able to do so at the same level of quality but at a lower price. Either way, thanks for trusting us with this part of your son's education, and we wish you and your family the best of luck with all your future testing and academic endeavors.

Ours too! Thanks for the four stars, but we sure would love to know what we could've done to make it five!

Did a fantastic job taking a strong student through the paces to become familiar and successful with the ACT. Highly recommend.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience and for providing such a positive review. We're thrilled to hear that you'll recommend us to others, but we have to be honest....we're dying to know what we could've done to earn that fifth and final star! Even after more than three decades in the test prep business, we’re still learning, and feedback from students and parents is a huge part of that process. So tell us! Tell us! What more should we do?!?

The individual tutors were very good and Inspirica handled a last minute tutor switch very well. However, when I requested some late summer review (I emailed in early July for late August), I was assured it could be scheduled and I should set up office practice tests. The website was not working, and I could not reach anyone by phone. I heard nothing for several weeks, but I was contacted by a new person and told that the Newton office had closed (although I had scheduled two practices tests there). Then, eventually I was told that no tutors were available due to high demand. I understand the demand, but 8 weeks in advance should have been enough time to schedule 2-3 review sessions and, at the very least, I should have been notified that the Newton Centre office was closing. It was very sloppy and unfortunately, I was not able to get my daughter tutoring with another group so late in the game. Going forward, I would not plan to use Inspirica again.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience. Even after more than three decades in the test prep business, we’re still learning, and feedback from students and parents is a huge part of that process. We’re sorry to hear that the results of the program weren’t what you hoped for, and that you had difficulty with our site. This past fall was admittedly a time of transition for us, as we were moving out of a location in Newton that had been our home for more than a decade and into a new custom-built space in Wellesely. That process proved far more complex than we had anticipated, but that's no excuse for the problems you faced, and we clearly dropped the ball. We're truly sorry, and should you ever choose to work with us again, we promise that it will never happen again. Either way, we wish you and your family the best of luck with all your future testing and academic endeavors.

We are not using Inspirica any more for my children’s tutoring. Did not feel there is personal attention anymore and that the administration was located to far away. Tutors where fine

Lisa, thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience. We’re sorry to hear that the results of the program weren’t what you hoped for, and that you felt we were difficult to reach. We strive to make a personal and lasting connection with each student with whom we have the privilege to work, but we clearly failed to do so here. Even after more than three decades in the test prep business, we still make mistakes, and for that we are deeply sorry. We wish you and your family the best of luck with all your future testing and academic endeavors.

Classes moderately helpful but primarily driven by the school teacher and not Inspirtca staff. Private tutoring a total waste of money.

SAT score dropped 10 points after 6 months and $6000 worth of private tutoring. Needless to say, I am not satisfied with the service.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience. Even after more than three decades in the test prep business, we’re still learning, and feedback from students and parents is a huge part of that process. We’re sorry to hear that the results of the program weren’t what you hoped for. Our records show that your daughter met with her tutor for 17 hours over a period of about three months, and you expressed happiness with the way the program was progressing at the various check-ins along the way. Even so, we understand that it’s very disappointing when test scores don’t reflect the improvement a student has made over the course of the program, and when the second set of scores came in, we would have loved the opportunity to try to make it right. Your review will help us improve our 1-on-1 programs and refine our customer service as we continue to strive to be the best at what we do. We wish you and your family the best of luck with all your future testing and academic endeavors.

Very disappointed. Fortunately I got this for free otherwise I would’ve been very angry that I paid $295. I reached out numerous times your helpdesk trying to get help with what was included to become very generic answers. Each time they gave me a generic answer I would respond trying to get more information. I called both of the telephone numbers listed on your website. One time I spoke with a woman whose daughter was in the hospital and she couldn’t talk which I completely understand however she referred me back to the helpdesk which was no help. I am very thankful I did not spend any money on this but very disappointed I spent so much time trying to navigate through your website and determine what was included.

Hi Tracey, We're sorry to hear that you are disappointed with your Rapid Prep experience. Our Help Desk received both of your messages, and although you did respond to our first message to you, we never heard back from you after your second attempt to contact us. We did the best we could to explain the value of the $249 program -- 4 hours of live small group classes, an on-demand video library, a digital testing strategies workbook, and a discount on one-on-one tutoring -- each of which becomes immediately available to you once you enroll in the course and login to the site. According to our records, your enrollment was processed, including the coupon code that waived the entire fee for the course, but your account was never activated and you never logged in. As we attempted to explain through our Support Chat, had you returned to the site and logged in, all those resources would've been immediately available. We're sorry to see that you never did so, and wish that we'd been offered the opportunity to guide you through that process. That said, your enrollment in the class is good through September, so if you change your mind and decide to give it another shot, please do let us know so that we can further assist you.

Not worth the expense. They do not adequately tailor classes to the individual needs of the student.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience. Even after more than three decades in the test prep business, we’re still learning, and feedback from students and parents is a huge part of that process. We’re sorry to hear that the results of the program weren’t what you hoped for. At least as far as we can see in our records, the prep for the test was going well prior to test day, with the tutor structuring sessions and homework assignments around the results of the practice tests taken along the way. We understand that it’s very disappointing when test scores don’t reflect the improvement a student has made over the course of the program, and when the results came in, we would have loved the opportunity to try to make it right. My daughter met with a wonderful counselor. After we scheduled your appointments we found out that the woman we had met with had left and everything went downhill from there. My daughter specifically needed math help and she was assigned a tutor with a degree in English.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience. Even after more than three decades in the test prep business, we’re still learning, and feedback from students and parents is a huge part of that process. We’re sorry to hear that the results of the program weren’t what you hoped for, and we know it’s very disappointing when test scores don’t reflect the improvement a student has made over the course of the program. Worse, because our counselors and tutors strive to make a personal and lasting connection with each family, we know it can be disruptive when one of them leaves. In this case, the counselor left Inspirica to pursue another opportunity, but that's no excuse for our having left you in the lurch. For that we sincerely apologize. Your review will help us improve our 1-on-1 programs and refine our customer service as we continue to strive to be the best at what we do. We wish you and your family the best of luck with all your future testing and academic endeavors.

I was truly disappointed with the service and with the lack of genuine involvement with my daughter.   The first tutor was insulting and the second was distant and uninvolved.   The office was not responsive to any of my requests.  I am a doctor who attended Ivy League schools so perhaps you should not just dismiss my feedback and perhaps someone should have actually responded to my concerns in real time.

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your experience. Even after more than three decades in the test prep business, we’re still learning, and feedback from students and parents is a huge part of that process. We’re sorry to hear that the results of the program weren’t what you hoped for, and that you feel that as an Ivy League doctor you were somehow disrespected or dismissed. We do our absolute best to respond to every problem or concern in real-time, but we clearly dropped the ball here and for that we apologize. When the initial match with the tutor didn't work, we did our best to find someone new, and ultimately settled on a match at a discount with one of the absolute best tutors to ever work at this company. But again, those efforts clearly left you unsatisfied, and for that as well we must apologize. Your review will help us improve our 1-on-1 programs and refine our customer service as we continue to strive to be the best at what we do. Even after more than three decades in the test prep business, we’re still learning, and feedback from students and parents is a huge part of that process. We’re sorry to hear that the results of the program weren’t what you hoped for. Test prep isn't easy under the very best of circumstances, and without the full participation and commitment of the student it's nearly impossible for it to succeed. We did everything we could to motivate and inspire your student to do the work, but in the end it was not enough, and for that we do apologize. Your review will help us improve our 1-on-1 programs and refine our customer service as we continue to strive to be the best at what we do.
