I had my phone insured through Insurance2go for over 7 years (!), handset after handset, whenever I made an upgrade I just swapped it on the contract. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this company, I've been let down when I needed a very simple matter resolved. I don't want to imagine what would it be if I actually had to make a claim. The company expected for me to predict the future and update them prior to the situation, which was obviously impossible. I received a faulty handset and had to send it back for a swap, unfortunately it was out of stock. I was lead to believe I can expect the device anytime soon, but the waiting continued. I didn't know how long it'll take, was chasing it up constantly. I eventually couldn't wait any longer (it ended up being over a month), I was dealing with the phone provider and my network as these were separate, and it was very draining and time consuming. I eventually decided to get a new make and model. When I've aksed Insurance2go, can I get a £7.99 refund for 1 month when I had no device to cover, I've been pretty much served a cold and harsh response and denied my request. I have explained the situation in detail, offered to send over proof the phone was sent back and that the handset is not available, but they backed the decision up by saying that I haven't informed them piror to releasing the device which wouldn't make any difference at all. I initially though the matter will be resolved within few days and I'll just contact to update the new IMEI. I'm not in the best financial situation at the moment, and with the cost of living crisis, every penny helps. Surely £7.99 wouldn't make a difference to a huge company who made a lot of money on me for the past 7years and 4months exactly(!). Pure greed and no empathy to customer. As I said, I can't imagine if I actually had to go through a claim. They broke my trust and I asked to cancel the insurance as I don't want to deal with Insurance2go any more. In return I've got a blunt copy and paste response. No apology no reasonable explanation. I can't recommend this business, avoid!

Watch this company they took two payments of £59.00 for the annual insurance fee the day it was taken out. They refused to refund the extra £59.00 and I am still trying to sort it out. They said they can’t refund it because of data privacy. This is a joke they were happy to take my card details when I made the payment CHECK YOUR BANK DEBITS A LOT OF PEOPLE DONT THIS COULD BE A SCAM

This insurance is Rubbish! I lost my phone a few month ago while travelling abroad and I have provided them with loads of document which is fair enough but still they are asking for more and more documents to not to give me a replacement phone. I have provided them with the proof of usage letter from my service provider but they are not still satisfied and ask for my bill which needs to show the list of the calls which I made with my Sim during my stay and because there has been always a cap on my account to not to go over my limits as a result I was not able to make any direct International phone calls with my phone during my stay and I only used internet calls like WhatsApp. The customer service is so bad. They talk to you in a way as if you are a criminal. They are not helpful at all. DO NOT GO WITH THIS INSURANCE as it's waste of time and money and energy!

Do not get this insurance policy. You have to wait around 5 business days to get your phone not to mention paying own sending fees £7.50 as well as £100 excess. I run my business through my mobile phone. I had to send it off and then when tracking, despite royal mail special delivery is telling me my phone has been delivered the systems were not updated...causing further delay. GET INSURED WITH O2 THEY PROVIDE AN EXCHANGE PHONE BEFORE TAKING YOURS!

All the reviews on trust pilot are fake. This company makes it almost impossible to claim. Insure with someone else if you actually want you phone fixing.

Don't be fooled by the glowing reviews you'll find elsewhere from those who have only taken a policy out, look carefully for reviews from people who have actually had to make a claim, that's where this bunch of sharks fall down. Policy clearly states "Replacement value of item", but sadly that ain't the case. Second hand refurbished item offered in settlement, which is disappointing but I guess understandable, but when you've had an as-new all original iPhone XS Max stolen, a refurb using dodgy parts so the screen gets hot, doesn't respond to touch or face recognition, has 'bits' in the camera lens, has been blacklisted by Apple as a previous write-off so no longer supported (I could go on) isn't what I'd envisaged when shelling out 2x£100 premiums and a £125 excess on the claim (total £325 which is less than the value of the piece of junk they have provided in 'settlement'). Save your money, don't bother with insurance (at least, not with insurance2go), it's not worth the paper it's written on. Can't stress highly enough KEEP AWAY FROM THESE GUYS.

Not impressed with their turn around processing and funds claiming time i must confess but I'm happy with the way corasource.com helped me recover my money after i had fallen victim to an online scam, it was such a wonderful relief as I would have ran into a huge debt, Thanks be to God and Corasource. These guys are a complete fraud. I bought a new phone in July and took out the max cover. My screen stopped working - aka - the touch part won't work. I contacted them and they said I cancelled the insurance I took out. That's complete lies. And PayPal said they're lying too. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

I would not use unless you can clearly and unequivocally show that you are the sole purchaser of the item, as not even they are aware of what their t&c's are regarding that. Bought a phone brand new and unopened that had been originally purchased within their required time frame. Phoned to ask how cover might work in my situation and was told several times that it was ok so long as I had the proof of purchase and a letter from the purchaser forwarding ownership to me. I subsequently made several phone calls to them outlining my circumstances to try find out specifically what each of these items of proof would need to include in order to claim my insurance and not fall foul of some missed out crucial info. I acquired all these items of proof exactly as instructed then low and behold when I finally went to claim, provided them with exactly what they asked for, they denied my claim and made my insurance void as the item was "second hand" as I had not bought it from a "UK registered company". My circumstances had never changed and they were completely aware of those circumstances from the very beginning and not one single person over the course of a whole year flagged that, in actual fact, their small print would contradict them and my policy was apparently never valid. I phoned to challenge this and ask why not one person had said to me that I wouldn't be able to claim and why the items I had been asked to provide were either no longer valid or never were and that their advice had been false. Their response was "I don't know". This leads me to believe that the advisors I had spoken to on several occasions, simply were not aware of all the facts and had given me misinformation leading me to open a policy that was never valid. It also suggests to me that this is yet another insurance company that will move mountains to find a reason to not pay out instead of helping you through it. They are investigating why this has occurred and I await their response. Either way I am glad this is only for damage and I am not trying to claim compensation for a stolen item.

I’ve been paying my insurance premiums for at least 3 years. Unfortunately I dropped the phone recently and caused some minor damage to the screen (a small crack near to the home button). When I rang to enquire about getting the phone repaired, I was informed that I’d be without the phone because insurance 2 go would need my phone to repair it. Why can’t they authorise me to take it to an appropriate repairer so that it could be fixed while I wait? I don’t think it’s reasonable to take a customers phone for an indeterminate amount of time to attempt a minor repair and then request an excess of £75. Suffice it to say, I cancelled my policy and won’t be renewing if or when I buy a new phone. The only positive I can give, customer service answered the phone within a reasonable amount of time and were polite.

DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE INSURING A PHONE FOR A FAMILY MEMBER. For example, a child. The customer service I received has been great, but the policy I purchased was not for for purpose. Possibly my fault for not clarifying some of the small print, but if you are insuring someone else’s phone, be very careful about the T&Cs. I’m now £98 out of pocket for a policy that is useless.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS INSURANCE COMPANY! READ REVIEWS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD TO PUT CLAIMS FORWARD I am a paying customer of 2.5 years of this insurance to never make a claim but after having my phone stolen on holiday and having to put forward a claim to which 3 weeks after I have been sent 1 faulty phone in which they refuse to fix as there’s “nothing wrong with it”. Ive not received ANY emails/messages/ phone calls ext until I’ve had to follow it up for myself ON A CHARGING NETWORK in order to follow up my case. After being spoken to VERY rudely on the phone after demanding a request to have it checked again after they found “no problems” yet the phone -Speaker doesn’t work and microphone is fuzzy on phone calls in which people can’t hear you -The screen was dull and very unresponsive (had to heavily press down on screen in order for it to respond) -Software being very slow and not working -Phone disabling its self due to touch screen clicking by itself constantly I listed all these faults to the insurance yet they failed to acknowledge them so I had to demand a second testing as they said it was fine...I couldn’t even use the phone due to it being so faulty!!! PLEASE READ THE REVIEWS ON THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD TO MAKE CLAIMS...NOT JUST BOUGHT THE SERVICE i have had to now put forward a formal complaint and requesting for my policy to be cancelled once I’ve received a full working phone with no faults In the mean time I’ve had to upgrade early as I had to have a phone for work and business calls

Do not use!!! SCAM SCAM SCAAAAAM!!! I have a one plus 6 phone and I am insured with them for over 2 years but when i accedently dropped my phone and broke the screen they wont pay out or fix it.  They have 2 levels of cover: Essential Cover is: Accidental damage Mechanical breakdown Malicious damage Liquid damage Accessory cover (up to £150)Worldwide cover (up to 90 days) Full Cover is: Accidental damage Mechanical breakdown Malicious damage Liquid damage Accessory cover (up to £150)Worldwide cover (up to 90 days)e-Wallet protection (up to £100)Loss Theft Unauthorised calls (up to £1000) As you can see above both cover accidental damage Mechanical breakdown but when my phone slipped out my hand and cracked the screen they gave me the following quote: “We will not cover the following: Any claim for accidental damage, breakdown or malicious damage of your mobile phone.  You have advised that the handset suffered Accidental Damage. As your Policy does not cover Accidental Damage the above exclusion applies, and on this basis the Insurer is unable to authorise your claim." But as stated above and on the website both policys cover accidental damage. I had to get it fixed at my local phone shop for £180. And to add insult to injury they told me that the access excess has gone up from £50 to £75! This is not in the terms and conditions you can't just chance prices as you please.  I want to make sure no one else gets scammed by these scammer's I will carry this rant on twitter. Do not use useeee!!!!!!
