Having spoken to several companies and been frustrated with their questions and manner of asking them it was a relief to speak to your representative who was concise and made the process fairly pleasant! Your price was higher than some but I decided to go with it as it wasn't too stressful an experience.

I was sent a quote via email, which was good. when I advised over email that I would be potentially be moving home soon I was sent a new quote which was good, but I thought I had been very clear that it was all in principle and that it was not final....apparently not as when I phoned on Monday 21st to speak with an advisor my details had all been changed to the new address I had quoted - premature to say the least since I don't live there yet! when speaking with an advisor I was quite clear about intention to move on 1st October - ten days after required renewal date on current home - and I had to spend a lot of time working out the cheapest way not to be charged admin fees if/when I do move home in the next year. seems ridiculous to me, as I'm being clear from the start that a move is likely to happen within a few weeks and the advisor couldn't do anything to prevent admin fees (she did try her best but she spoke with her manager and it was refused). What I wanted to do was pay my annual fee and then pay and excess incurred by moving to a bigger house at a later date but that wasn't possible. Now I have to cancel within 30 days if I move .....all very irritating, another phone call I don't need to be spending time on when I'm trying to move house I also think you need to have some opening hours on a Sunday.

Good to receive a reminder call that my insurance was due. Sometimes I think we are reminded a little too early by e-mail and can forget. Young lady who called was most professional and helpful. All my dealings with Intasure have been of he highest quality.

I found the Intasure Internet portal very user unfriendly: on trying to enter it I got a brutal message saying "Access Denied" without any explanation why. It was only when I contacted the customer services team that I was told that my account had been blocked (I've no idea why). I was very disappointed to be told that because of migration to a new system the age of my property would now be taken into account, and that, since my house was built before 1989, my premiums would rise substantially next year. This seems to me to be a change in underwriting criteria driven not by claims experience but by the desire to generate more profit. My property's level of risk has not changed in the 10 years I have been with Intersure and I would argue that my house, built in the early 70's, is of far sounder construction than many properties built recently. I will not be seeking to renew with Intersure in 2016.

Quite easy to renew my policy and generally satisfied with levels of service and the policy itself. One minor niggle is that the contents limit is automatically increased every year (which increases the premium), which I have to phone to adjust downwards as it's not necessary.

the gentleman I spoke to was very professional while being very friendly and was very patient .The quote he gave me was very good compared to some of the quotes I had received from other companies and I would definitely be staying with them and recommend them to my family and friends.
