“2 of the 3 places we went were closed...We got to London much lat”

Thank you for taking the time to write a review, please be assured that we do take all feedback on board. Salisbury Cathedral was indeed closed for a service on the date of your tour. As it very clearly states on our website "Please note as Salisbury Cathedral is a working Cathedral it may be subject to last minute closures." Unfortunately there will be dates that a cruise ship docks, that inevitably clash with a service at the Cathedral, and as such entry is regrettably, not possible. It is for this reason that we do state this on the website. As a working Royal Residence, Windsor Castle is often subject to closures throughout the year, to align with the plans of the Royal Family. Windsor Castle was closed on the 17th June in order to prepare for the 700 year old Order of the Garter ceremony. This is unfortunately again, something entirely out of our control. As per our booking page for this day trip, "To avoid possible disappointment on the day, we strongly advise you include your attraction entry when booking the transfer." Had you expressed an interest, or booked Windsor Castle tickets when you booked your transfer, we would have of course notified you of the closure. If you do not book Windsor Castle tickets with your tour and do not contact us to enquire about opening times, we can only assume that you do not wish to enter the Castle. On this date, the ship you disembarked from docked later than expected. As per the booking terms for this tour, and for the benefit of all those on board, we did wait until everybody booked on the tour had boarded the coach. This did have a knock on effect on the rest of the tour, and as such did result in the tour finishing slightly later than usual. “Very efficient from pickup at ship in Southampton to delivery at St Giles Hotel in London two hours later. It couldn’t have gone smoother. The driver was very helpful in handling the luggage. I would recommend your service to fellow travellers.”

“The transfer/tour from Southampton to London city center that we took for a party of 7 through Salisbury, Stonehenge and Windsor was absolutely fantastic. Our guide Andrew was very knowledgeable and did a great job showing us these historical places. I would recommend this transfer/tour to my friends if they are up for a long but fulfilling day.”

“Exceeded expectations. International Friends' representative met us at the exit door at the cruise terminal and walked us to van for our transfer to London city center. I would highly recommend Intl. Friends to anyone who needs a city and/or airport transfer.”

“Transfer from our London hotel to cruise ship in Southampton went great! The driver arrived at our hotel early so he was there when we went outside. We shared a van with 1 other couple. It was lower cost and faster than taking a transfer offered by the cruise line.”

“We had a fantastic day, our guide David was wonderful, he was knowledgable friendly and fun. This day trip was the highlight to our visit to London. David thank you so much for showing us such a great time, it wouldn't have been as good without you. To international friends , thank you for the great trip and for employing wonderful staff. All together great experience.”

“Tour began great! On time friendly pick up at cruise terminal. Knowledgeable guide and good driver. Bath, England was a beautiful, historic city and Cotswold pub lunch and village delightful. After that- downhill fast. Horribly long drive sitting in traffic delivering all people on tour to various hotels. We spent about 4+hours just sitting and driving from location to location to drop off our large group. Would not recommend unless this part of your revised.”

Dear Mr Leethem, Thank you for taking the time to write in. I was glad to read that you enjoyed the stops on this tour. I have spoken to your driver and guide about your transfer, and passed on your positive comments to them. They did advise me that the traffic was very heavy on this date, and the roads into London were incredibly busy. However, they also did mention that all passengers had been dropped off shortly after 7.30pm. Although this may have seemed frustrating for you, this is in line with the Departure & Arrival Info listed on our website - this tour arrives in Central London at 6.45pm - 7.30pm to begin drop offs. I was pleased to hear that even with the traffic, we managed to complete all of our drop offs in line with the itinerary. Kind regards, International Friends

“Our tour with International Friends was excellent. The tour guide, Jose, was knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. He got us to each place on time (We toured Stonehenge, Bath, and Windsor Castle), in spite of some others in our group not arriving at our meeting point on time. We would recommend International Friends to others, and would look forward to doing another tour with them.”
