“We used this shuttle service from our hotel in London to our cruise departure location in Southampton with a stop at Stonehenge. The shuttle arrived right on time, had about an hour and a half to spend at Stonehenge, which is plenty of time, and we arrived at our cruise ship at around 2 pm as advertised. The customer service was superb throughout. Highly recommend this option!”

“The driver arrived on time and in five minutes we were picking up the last of the passengers from a hotel not far away. The trip to Southampton was extremely quick and stress free. I will definitely use this service again and highly recommend it others.”

“It was a very good tour. Our guide was fantastic. He really took a good care of us. Lunch was so good. I would be happier if we had more time in Bath and less time in the village.”

“I have used a transfer from London to Southampton which was great. On the way back from the cruise I took a day trip to London through Salisbury Windsor and Stonehenge. Windsor Castle was closed - I was refunded Sulisbury church had a service - scheduled for years. Closed — Sorry Manga Carta room is opening only at 11:00 — sorry Stoneheng- no audio guide tours -- sorry I was told I am the first to be dropped off at London — sorry. I was told it is 30 minutes to the hotel from Windsor- 75 minutes. Sorry So I am sorry but there were just too many sorries for one trip. Most of them could be predicted”

Good morning, Thank you for taking the time to write a review, please be assured that we do take all feedback on board. You have highlighted a few points which I do feel I need to clarify; As a working Royal Residence, Windsor Castle is often subject to last minute closures throughout the year, to align with the plans of the Royal Family. We informed you of this, and refunded your Castle entry as soon as we were informed of the closure on the 27th May, before your tour on the 17th June. Salisbury Cathedral does indeed run services throughout the week. Please note that our website does state that entry to Cathedral is not always possible, as they are subject to last minute closures due to the scheduling of services. Unfortunately, there will always be some dates, when the date that the ship is docking clashes with a Cathedral service. Regrettably, this is not something we can control and is, as such, unavoidable. On this date, the ship you disembarked from docked later than expected. As per our booking page and for the benefit of all those on board, we did wait until everybody booked on the tour had boarded the coach. This did have a knock on effect, and did make us late for our entry slot at Stonehenge - this is why the staff at the site had run out of audio guides. To compensate for this, our guide took the group up to the Stones, and did his own tour and short commentary. Although we were disappointed to not be able to distribute audio guides to our customers, we do feel that this was a great substitute, and the best that we could offer in the circumstances. Finally, it seems there has been some confusion regarding journey times. I am not sure who informed you that the journey would be 30 minutes from Windsor, as this would not ever be possible, even with little/no traffic. I have spoken with our company driver and he informed me that you were the second drop off in London - I am unsure as to why this is something that would be an inconvenience to you? Once again I thank you for taking the time to write a review, and I do hope my explanation clarifies some of the points you have made. I was glad to hear you enjoyed your first transfer with us - I hope that aside from these issues, you also had an enjoyable day trip with us. Kind regards, International Friends

“We booked a post cruise tour/transfer, Southampton to Heathrow hotel, including Salisbury, Stonehenge and Windsor. Experience was excellent from greeting as we exited cruise terminal to drop off. Oz (aka Oliver) our tour guide really knows his history. Presentation had us locked in all day. Bus was A plus for comfort, our driver Richard, magically navigated multi lane roundabouts. Lots of care was given to client schedules. Price was far better than ship's offering, and we would have been dropped in London. Don't know if it is possible to request the fantastic team of Oz and Richard, but try it!! Would definitely use International Friends again.”

“Wonderful time. Very comfortable coach. Guide extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Only complaint would be the sites Stonehenge and Windsor Castle were extremely crowded. Should be some way to stagger arrivals.”

“The ride to Southhampton via Stonehenge was good. The narration about Stonehenge prior to arriving was good. I was disappointed that more commentary wasn't given about areas of London and communities on the way. I expected that since it was a tour. Pointing out car dealerships really didn't measure up. Maybe was a new assistant?”

I would just like to clarify that this is a transfer with the services of a tour manager, not a fully guided day trip, as per the booking page for this product. “Our driver from International Friends met us at our Bath Rd. hotel precisely on time to take us to our cruise ship in Southhampton. The small van went to a couple of other hotels to pick up a few other passengers. Driver very pleasant. Van clean and plenty big enough. We were on time at Stonehenge to view the Stones and the small museum for about and hour and a half. Really would have liked to spend more time there but that would have been a different tour. Left us off right beside the port entrance. Really just what I had hoped for in getting a cruise day transport from Heathrow area to the ship with a brief sightseeing stop on the way!”

“Katie was absolutely fantastic! She was a wealth of knowledge, very personable and incredibly organized which made me feel safe in my foreign travels. The organized events allowed me to see so much of Scotland in such a short amount of time. I will certainly be recommending Katie and International Friends to other and look forward to taking another trip with the company in the future!”

“We did the trip from Southampton Port to Heathrow, with stops in Salisbury, Stonehenge, and Windsor Castle. The trip was great! Rob offered a lot of great background and info about where we were going, we had enough time at each stop, and it was an overall great day.”
