“the worst day ever in my life. Boat trip with high seas and bad weather, 2 meter high waves that made us feel sick and vomit, but this is not all. They gave us half an hour to have lunch in pubs full of people and that's why we were late, so they call us and we tell them we're about to arrive in 1 minute on the bus, but as soon as we get to the parking lot, the bus is gone. An absurd thing, they left us at the doolin village without warning, we had to call a taxi, to be able to reach them on the cliff of moher and we also pay 15 euros each (we were 4 of us). as soon as we get to the cliffs, we meet the driver of the bus, who instead of asking how we are, rails against us and does not give us the opportunity to speak (his name is james). In addition, the bus delayed returning for dublin 1 hour, compared to what had been said.”

Hi, Thank you for your feedback, and i am sorry to see your comments about the tour. Unfortunately we cannot control the weather and wave height during the cruise at the Cliffs Of Moher. The drivers also have a very strict schedule, and they try very hard to stick to. Everyone is told what time to be back on the bus - at each stop. I am sorry that you missed your bus at this stage. However i am extremely surprised that you claim a 9km taxi from Doolin to the Cliffs Of Moher cost 4 people €15 each (€60). As i mentioned, our drivers do everything they can to keep the tours on schedule. At times there are delays due to weather, traffic etc. Kind regards, Customer Service

“Excellent tour. Our guide Stephen T. was absolutely fabulous - very knowledgeable, witty, and both personable and professional. He even gave me me some information about my own ancestors "The Byrne Clan" from Wicklow! Information that I will definitely be researching. Our drivers do try their very best to give all guests as much time as possible at the different sights, but things like traffic and weather can alter the day. We do attempt to get our guests back to Dublin on time. “Intimate tour with small bus made it possible with slightly flexibility of the details of the programme. Very good atmosphere and guidance thanks to the guide Rob. First timer on a such a guided tour bus. But not my last.”

“Went to Cliffs of Moher, lunch in Doolin and a visit to Galway. Not enough time to really eat in Doolin - only a couple of restaurants, and two busses were there at the same time. Long lines. Had an ice cream cone and that was it. Galway was disappointing - no commentary beforehand. Dropped us off in an unremarkable area to "shop" for an hour. Went to Burger King in the mall, used the restroom & hung out in the park across the street, waiting to leave. I think the bus driver had some interesting commentary on the trip, but much of it was hard to understand, with his accent.”

“I will say that the radio on at 6:45(?) AM was more than I cared for lol but the driver was a kind, good-spirited/humored man. The trip was worth every cent and well planned and organised. Got to see so many spectacular places in one day that I would have had no way of getting to on my own. Cliffs of Moher were incredible and Galway was a treat!”

“For the second time, Irish Day Tours didn’t disappoint and again, it has exceeded my expectations! The Cliffs of Moher tour and the Wild Connemara experience made me realize how truly beautiful and magnificent Ireland is when it comes to its landscape, culture and people. The tours they are offering are definitely one of a kind, i’d say they are really capable of bringing out the best of what Ireland could offer. Kudos!!”
