“I use to order Jim's Jerky quite a bit before I started trialling other jerky brands. I always preferred Jim's so thought I'd put through an order on Jerky day. I'd have to say, I don't remember it being as dry as it is now. Maybe that's just me, because I've been use to other more traditiional South African jerky and biltong recently. The flavour is still great, but I think the jerky is too dry for me now. Not sure I'll order again, but if I do, it may be to trial the biltong instead.”
“It's a 4 or 5 star rating for those who don't mind some sugar in their biltong. But the biltong is just too sweet for anyone ike me who has minimised their sugar intake.”
“jerky is a little tough and I was very disappointed to see that it only keeps for 1 month; I would have expected a better use-by date.
Once chewed up - it does taste delicious, thank you.”
“Has always been good for quality but the price over the last 3 years has skyrocketed beyond belief original drywors ordered 2kgs delivered were $101.75 in 2018. recently ordered 5x160g cheese griller (basically the same product) 800g worth for $71.50 delivered even with inflation and beef costs that has become outrageous, unfortunately focused on pissy small expensive packaging then bulk availability.”
“Interesting that you ask for a review now - I sent you an email months ago and you ignored it. You have consistency issues. I buy this stuff by the kilo - sometimes it's far too dry. Sometimes it's like it should be. Fix it.”
