“I was admitted to the Japonica ward of King George’s Hospital, Ilford on 15/10/2023 for knee replacement surgery. The care and kindness of all the staff was amazing.”
“I was admitted to japonica ward for knee replacement on 17/1/23 and what a pleasant experience it was from start to end. Everyone and everything was excellent. Couldn’t have received better care if I had gone private. Home the next day too. Thank you all.”
“Only praise for the whole of the NHS. I rang 111 as I was very concern about my elderly father. The operator was professional and polite, connected me with a doctor who requested an ambulance. After 10mins an ambulance crew arrived equally great, took him to King George and he was seen straight away. His care both in A&E and on the ward was wonderful, such dedicated and hard working staff.”
“Wow what can I say. Other than thank you all so much. From the security staff, the admissions doctors, nurses, receptionist and the doctors who treated my 19 month old from the 6th to the 15th we had to visit to have her scold treated and checked. Everyone was simply amazing. So kind caring and helpful. The waiting wasn't to long and if they felt it was the apologies were on tap. Everyone from the moment we entered till we left was super. And made her so happy and calm. And myself they were so re assuring. You are all doing an amazing job. And from the bottom of my heart we thank you all. Xx keep being you.”
“My daughter was taken in by ambulance with breathing problems, the staff were kind and caring and we didn’t wait long for treatment, cleaners were about constantly cleaning everything.
The staff let us know what was happening and kept us well informed.
Thank you to everyone at the hospital for everything.”
“I came in yesterday Monday 23rd November 3
2020 after my little boy developed an allergic reaction on Saturday evening. I called 111 first on Sunday and was given medication. Obviously it got worse so we was told by the doctor to go to the hospital. My son is 3 and non verbal autistic, I was treated appallingly on Sunday, 2 hours with a child who was severely unwell wait just to have him assessed. The nurse was rude and shouted at my son for going near his desk (big no no, no one shouts at my son). I’m aware of the pandemic and I wouldn’t step foot in the hospital unless it was urgent. I then see a doctor who didn’t even examine my son just asked me questions and told me ‘oh it’s a common rash, we won’t prescribe anything’. I woke up this morning and my sons whole body was covered in this awful rash and his face and eyes were swollen. I called 111 as I didnt fancy a long wait to be assessed again. Got to the hospital and was assessed with 10 minutes and was taken straight round to see a doctor. The doctor took one look at my son as was appalled he wasn’t checked over properly yesterday and given medication. I left today with medication and a little boy who was seen and treated with respect. As I said I understand with the pandemic everyone’s stressed but my son only being 3 and clearly very ill I was not happy with how 2 professionals treated him yesterday”
