“The 20w warm-white LED corn-style E27 lamp came very promptly and replaced a previous corn lamp which someone ordered directly from China, in an outdoor floodlight at the village church. The old lamp didn't last very long. The new lamp (of a type not easy to find) fitted easily and is working brilliantly! It seems to be well-made with its LED chips sealed behind plastic; in the old the chips were exposed. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase and the service from Lampshop on Line.”

“Quick delivery was appreciated. Fairly easy to replace the old fitting, however I had two issues before getting the new unit to function correctly: 1) the instruction leaflet said a 'jumper in the centre of the control unit' should be removed for non-maintained operation, the only 'jumper' I could find was a short wire linking the permanent live and switched live connectors at the mains input connection block. Through trial and error, this did prove to be the 'jumper' to be removed - the instructions could be clearer. 2) after 24 hours of connection to charge the batteries, the mains supply was disconnected to test the battery operation of the light fitting. It didn't work. Investigation found that a low-voltage wire was not secured in its temination block, rectifying this gave the expected operation of the unit. Otherwise, an acceptable price and quick delivery. Time will tell whether the longevity of the unit is acceptable - it's only been installed for a few days.”
