For anyone considering engaging any company owned by James Alexander Gold, a few undeniable facts: 1. James Gold and his (ex-)company Landmark Lofts were suspended by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors last year. The professional body is now proceeding with a full disciplinary hearing against him in order to strip him of membership following numerous complaints and a detailed investigation. 2. In addition to Landmark Lofts, James Gold has been a Director of over ten other Limited companies, all now dissolved. 3. James Gold associated companies have had numerous County Court judgements against them. 4. Landmark Lofts, which many people lost tens of thousands of pounds, eventually was wound up in 2019. In the process of winding up the company, James Gold failed to even pay the insolvency firm engaged in the original liquidation process. 5. James Gold lives in a £1.5m+ property in London owned by a company registered in the Isle of Man, with the sole shareholder one Roza Gold, his mother. Please, if you are considering entering into any sort of contract with James Gold, if you are thinking of working with him, or if you are thinking of working for him ... review online comments from past customers, do research yourself on his directorships and failed companies, look into Varsity Education Ltd, contact past victims, ... and then make your own, informed decision.

Landmark Modular is basically a continuation of Landmark Lofts, which went into liquidation stealing lots of deposits in the process. It's all the same people at the helm though. They are an absolute disaster of a company, horrid to the core.

Got totally ripped of took 13k deposit and then went it to voluntary liquidation. Even the company dealing with the liquidation failed to send me the report. Seems thats its business model - disgusting! Do not use!

The favourable review from Lukas (who is Polish) is fake as he is an employee of Gold. I strongly advise anyone not to use any of Gold's companies. Review his history of setting up companies and it will be crystal clear. I had to spend £3k clearing up the damage caused by his sub-contract workers.

Posting this again as it seems Mr Gold didn't want my review to be seen. Catastrophic from start to finish, we are still dealing with the consequences of the poor quality work that was completed in our house over one year later. Mr Gold's company refused to return and ignored our emails detailing the flooding we were suffering with. This isn't even mentioning the service we received during the job which amounted to bullying by Mr Gold at every possible opportunity for payment, even when it was clear the job was not progressing as it should. Any review would not be long enough to detail the absolute and unmitigated nightmare we had using this man's (three) different companies during a four month period.

Thank god for the internet I was looking at modular roof for my 33 buildings I own I’m glad you guys have written a review. Me gold and Co’s response is feeble. I can understand if one person has had a bad Experience but not almost everyone. I would get together and put in Fira classsctiik lawsuit against him and get your full money back and the cost of damages. Just my two cents. There will lots of pro bono lawyers that would this case.

I really doubt that Mr. Gold has ever done anything against the law. He has a very powerful attorney team that will not allow him to cross any legal line (unless they have something against you... to push and crash... like a 0.5pt letter contract disclaimer)... The morality and ethics... that's another story. People are NOT sharing their names in purpose, because otherwise Mr. Gold will send his VERY expensive lawyers team and will ruin you unless you have better and more expensive lawyers... This man is the devil in person

Building a relationship and working with the team at LMD over the last 12 months has been a pleasure. I would highly recommend working with them and will happily recommend them to others.

If you enjoy: -Being on edge -Feeling stressed -Being lied to -Being Mis-sold to (sold a modular and then let down but took money ) -Being Let down -Being robbed ... Then Landmark Group / Landmark Modular and Landmark Lofts is where you should go. If you don’t, then turn around, run fast and avoid like the plague. I can’t believe they are still trading. Giving 1 star as zero stars not possible.

Landmark Modular is Landmark Lofts, by another name. At the end of last year Land Lofts (as part of the Landmark Group) took £35,000 as a deposit and 2nd payment for a modular off site built loft. Landmark Group logistics then miscalculated the size of the module and were unable to deliver it. It sat with the haulier (who wouldn’t release it due to non payment from Landmark Lofts) whilst we were left with water pouring through are house, as they had removed the original roof. They promptly told us they’d ‘ceased trading’ and couldn’t help us further without more money! We weren’t even sure who the money would go to as they’d ‘ceased trading’. Landmark Lofts was supposed to go into administration last year, but they have failed to file (perhaps to avoid criminal investigation) and so although ceased trading are still officially active. Do not trust

Do not trust this company! Previously named Landmark Lofts but went into voluntary liquidation, leaving all employees jobless and pocketing thousands of pounds from clients without any work done! Disgraceful!
