“I’ve seen so many bad reviews making people scared to try this company, but I’ve truly never been happier shaving since switching over. My skin is happy, I even started using their shaving cream and moisturizer and exfoliating smoothie. It’s magnificent and even with my sensitive skin, I’ve never reacted. They send tons of support and videos and information on the lead up to receiving your first box, and it took away a lot of stress for me. You just need to be patient and take it slow, no pressure, and I’ve maybe only had about 2 very minor cuts - I actually had a lot MORE with a normal razor! If they’re in your price range, I couldn’t recommend them more.”

My package got lost in the mail at first but after contacting customer service and speaking with a wonderful person called Blayne, I got sent out another with some extra blades for free as an apology! “Great razor! I was really scared as I've seen a lot of people saying they've cut themselves so I was really worried, BUT it's so good. I've never cut myself at all, I'm getting much quicker now (it is slower than plastic ones at the beginning, at least it was for me when I was panicking🤣) and the shave is amazing. The best part? The refills are so cheap! Pack of 100 is around £8 on Amazon, I change them every 4 shaves.
They're also so easy to clean out so you don't get your hair stuck any more which stops you from shaving.

“I was very keen when I read about this razor . It’s a lovely razor to look at but to use it’s very hard I’ve tried it a few times now and it just keeps cutting me to pieces . It’s not easy to use. So total waste of money and I’ve tried to contact Lane44 through email and messenger and even commented on a post . Seems no one wants to reply when their is a problem .wasted my money and stick with this razor as an ornament . Should come with some kind of money back guarantee if you can’t get on with it. It’s an extremely sharp blade and it will cut you to pieces .”
“The worst razor cold ever used was so excited to be plastic free and looks lovely but now onto my 5th blade and still getting cuts and shave so gentle it’s taking actual slices of my skin and also leaves horrible razor rash. Iv tried shaving in every direction tried with oils soap foam water Iv exfoliated held at different angles plus it doesn’t give a great finish off what it does take off my legs still feel stubbly and I will defo be scarred all over my legs for life back to a normal razor for me.”

“I thought I’d give this razor ago, being plastic free etc, and I’m just mortified, the razor it’s self is beautiful but those blades are far too dangerous! With applying no pressure, exfoliation before and shaving cream - I am cut to pieces, not even little cuts, gashes. Absolutely awful. Would not recommend to anyone.

“Oh my god. My husbands face is cut to pieces. He’s been shaving for 30 years and never had this problem. I am horrified. He’s followed all the guidance and looks like this? I’m going to have to report this product as not fit for purpose and actually dangerous. If my husband has any infection or scarring after this we will consider taking further action. I’m horrified!”
