Staff are slightly rude, they clearly don’t read people’s comments when enquiring about a property. They then pretend to transfer you to a Northamptom office when there clearly is no Office it’s probably someone working from home. Who clearly doesn’t know what customer service is or how to talk to people

As such, nothing actually went wrong, but I feel that there needs to be more communication between your different departments. I have been with you now (with two fully managed properties) for some 13 years, and things are not as efficient now. Messages left do not get conveyed to the correct dept., if at all. I am still waiting to know if I am to get a refund from the deposit due to the condition of the property when the tenant left. My letter to your people would have been received on 10th April. Not good !! I asked for quotes for painting and carpets before the tenant left and nothing was forthcoming after a week so I had to deal with this myself. I don't think this is very efficient. That said your people are always very pleasant and polite, but we as landlords want action and efficiency

At the end of 3 year tenancy after paying rent on time every month, I had my entire deposit taken for wear and tear (i.e. marks in hallway). Attempted numerous times to discuss this with Lenwell staff who didn't care at all and even put the phone down on me. After several weeks of stress I put a claim through TDS and got the majority of my deposit refunded. Lenwell staff were happy just to take my deposit without even discussing the issues with me as they are required to do by law. They were rude and unhelpful and only cared about protecting the landlord's profit. Never ever use Lenwell
