“I and my family have been on Liberty for five years or so. In that time, various family members have had several minor surgeries, and lots of normal healthcare bills that have needed to be paid. LH is not perfect. They sometimes take too long to pay bills and I have been frustrated with a few 'balance bills' I have had to work through before getting g things straightened out. However, personally, I have found them easy to reach with only modest wait times, and they are always polite and helpful. I give my rating as compared to private insurance. I have had FAR FEWER HEADACHES dealing with LH than I did with two different private insurance companies in the past. Dealing with healthcare bills just is not pleasant generally, but LH is better than the alternatives. And, not to mention, it is FAR CHEAPER than any insurance my family could find on the exchange, as we don't qualify for subsidies and the private deductibles are outrageous. We have had a good experience, particularly when compared to private insurance.”

“My almost year long situation has been resolved with the help of two very incredible people at Liberty Healthshare in one day and I am very grateful to the speed and attentiveness to resolve my situation. I have canceled my complaint with the Ohio Attorney Generals' office, and look forward to continuing with Liberty Healthshare. “Compared to other insurers this is pretty simple to understand and less expensive and less frustrating. With that said you have to forget everything you know about insurance to truly understand how it works. My chiropractor doesn't except Liberty so I pay out of pocket, 3 months later a check arrives. That's Awesome. They don't pay Pharma but there are so many pharma discount programs free to you, you really don't need them to pay. This is for people with out of the box thinking ability.”

Sterns, You are correct. Healthcare cost-sharing is very different than insurance. Our members come together and share each other's expenses. We do not offer insurance, nor are we affiliated in any way with insurance companies. Liberty HealthShare is a non-profit ministry that facilitates the sharing of contributions between our members. We do have an amazing discount program for prescriptions as well as vision and dental care. Our members can even get free telehealth services. “My husband and I have been with LHS 3 years now. It's been great! First year and second year really didn't have many med bills, however this past year we had quite a bit. Everything was covered 100%. We have been lucky that all of our doctors and hospitals submit our bills, never once had to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed. You just need to explain LHS to them and even ask them to call LHS to verify. I highly recommend LHS. They did raise their rates this year but still the cheapest solution. Will never go back to regular health insurance.”

Our members share the burden of each other's fair and reasonable medical expenses, submitted expenses do go through re-pricing and are adjusted to the usual and customary amount for the region, which most providers gladly accept. In the instance that your provider does not, our care navigation team can assist with finding another provider if you would like. We offer an optional network with more than 900,000 providers. We have lots of options available for our members, and we thank you for being the best part of our sharing ministry.

“I have been using liberty health share for some time now. I was hesitant at first as the rates are great for the family plan but everything has worked out great. Bill processing can take a little bit due to the nature of cost sharing but everything gets handled and my family is saving a lot of money. Our previous plan was over 3x as much. Count me as a satisfied member! Many thanks LHS!!!”

“The monthly share rates are reasonable and the program information sets out medical expenses covered and amounts. It is easy to submit bills and easy to see the status of your submissions as well as direct submissions by doctors, etc. The preapproval process was also easy to navigate. I would recommend Liberty HealthShare as an option to consider vs. ACA options.”

“A friend referred me to Liberty. My husband and I were paying $600 a month for insurance from the Marketplace. It was about to leap to $1000 a month. I was diagnosed with an early stage breast cancer. The bills were enormous. Liberty paid everything quickly and without question. I couldn't have asked for an easier process.”

“AWESOME. Outstanding company! I'm so grateful that LHS is an option to expensive health care. In 2017, with LHS, I can't imagine what would have happened. It was my worst health year EVER. My costs would probably have been $20,000 or more. LHS handled EVERYTHING at a fraction of the cost. -- A few times, I've had to call to check about something I had submitted, and/or verify something, but that's a small hassle compared to the overall effectiveness. -- Highly recommended!”

“Love LHS. They have helped me get excellent health care that I can afford and are always available to talk to. They are excellent negotiators with medical bills and the payouts are far better than other medical plans we've had in the past, not to mention far less expensive. “Liberty Healthshare has been great for me. I've been with them for about two years now and even my accountant and a couple friends joined and so far so good! I'm a healthy woman in my fifties and other than screening visits hadn't had to submit anything unusual but I got run over by a herd of horses a couple months ago (no joke) and needed a full CT and ER visit (3 fractured ribs and slight concussion) and it was covered. My accountant had an unexpected hospital outpatient visit too and no issues. My only regret is I did not go to an outpatient imaging center as the CT i found would be much cheaper there and with a Healthshare I kind of feel more like it's my responsibility to help save them money, although I really was in excruciating pain.”

“We signed on aware that we mostly wanted excellent catastrophic coverage (since our earlier insurance had such a high deductible that we paid out of pocket anyway). We are super happy to pay a normal and acceptable monthly share and don't mind paying for our routine care--it's much cheaper than any other healthcare program and really shines in its focus on staying healthy in the first place! Yes you can submit the routine stuff--but that's not really the point of this share-care model.”

“I have been with Liberty HealthShare for the last 3 years and it was the best move I've ever made regarding Health Insurance. I have only had one issue since my membership with them which required an emergency visit to the hospital and they handled everything above and beyond my expectations and handled it in a timely manner as well as keeping me in the loop on the status of multiple charges by the hospital. I can't say enough praises about them.........”

“I can't believe the negative reviews!! Liberty is a million times better than working with regular insurance! It saves my family of 7 soooo much money, works and "feels" like normal insurance in most cases, there is no network (sooo convenient), they cover 12 Chiropractic visits as a matter of course, the family deductible is extremely reasonable compared to the awful high deductible plan we used to have... and the few times there's been a mix up, they MADE IT RIGHT. I constantly recommend liberty to my friends. I will never change back!!”
