I have suffered with moderate acne for over 10 years and I can’t begin to tell you how much it affected me. Acne destroys your confidence in a way that’s so hard for people who don’t have it to understand. I hadn’t left the house without makeup on in 10 years, I used to turn down events if my skin was particularly bad that day, I would go to bed with foundation on when staying at a friends house. I wouldn’t dream of letting my closest family, friends and even my boyfriend see me without makeup on and I HATED looking at myself in the mirror. I tried various birth control, creams, antibiotics and nothing helped. I always felt like my doctors didn't take me seriously enough because it wasn't cystic acne. I would have done anything to fix it. So I did. I went to see Dr Zokaie and for the first time in my entire life - I had a doctor who listened to me. He didn't tell me my skin wasn't bad enough to go on Roaccutane. He saw how it was affecting me and how it wasn't going away no matter what I tried. Not only was he kind and empathetic but he was so knowledgable and I came away with answers to questions about my skin that no other doctor has been able to help me with. I was prescribed a course of Roaccutane and I am so so happy to say that 5 months in, IT HAS WORKED. Roaccutane has truly been a miracle for me. I won't lie and say that it was easy - I have a phobia of needles and it requires monthly blood tests, it makes your joints ache and it gives you incredibly dry skin. But it's so worth it. I would do it again in a heartbeat. I would highly highly recommend Linia Skin Clinic.

Was recommended to see the doctor for botox and fillers. He assessed me thoroughly and spent time explaining the treatments to me. I was very happy with his treatment plan including skin care advice as he is a skin specialist too. We made plans to slowly do the treatment in stages every month so to help me budget and save as well as get a natural result . Very happy and still continue to see him.

Thank you for your comment. We are sorry to hear you feel your milia has recurred. Old milia being treated doesn’t normally return although its usual to develop new ones around the same area. It is very likely this is the case. We will be however happy to see you again to assess you and offer to retreat them. Please let us know. Thank you. please read more about Milia on this link: https://www.dermnetnz.org/topics/milium/ What is the treatment of milia? Milia do not need to be treated unless they are a cause for concern for the patient. They often clear up by themselves within a few months. Where possible, further trauma should be minimised to reduce the development of new lesions. The lesion may be de-roofed using a sterile needle or blade and the contents squeezed or pricked out. They may be destroyed using diathermy and curettage, or cryotherapy. For widespread lesions, topical retinoids may be helpful. Chemical peels, dermabrasion and laser ablation have been reported to be effective when used for very extensive milia.

My money is not worth it. All that was done was they put some chemical on with a swab on the affected area the size of half a pea and then I was instructed to leave it on for a few hours. That's it!!!! Procedure lasted less than a minute. Not worth my trip at all. Should have just stayed home and relaxed

Dear Jeanilette, thank you for your comment. We ate sorry to hear you were not happy with the treatment. We hsve cjecked your notes and we csn see You attended for cryotherapy treatment and our dermatologist treated you correctly. The treatment with sny cryotherapy is only a few seconds long as the temperatures reached are over -80 degrees and if left on the skin any longer it can cause blistering and damage. We understand the treatment was therefore performed correctly. Sometimes a number of treatments may be required. We kindly ask you to research the treatment you have in the future. We will be happy to see you and re-explain the treatment to you again. Thank you.

Therapist vain and treated you like a number not a person. Only out to sell further treatments. Treatment ineffectual and session rushed.
