“"I've been looking for new framing equipment\material suppliers, very impressed with the catalogue and products on offer. I ordered products which my usual suppliers don't stock, which limited me to what services I could offer my customers. I called the sales department for advice on framing board advice, although the adviser wasn't sure of my enquiry. He did offer advice and a suitable product. Products were secure, safely packaged and arrived in great time. Product prices are average, I'm a small framing studio and shop around for cheaper products all the time. Large suppliers seem to offer discounts to customers who by large amounts, or who spend large amounts on materials. But no discount for smaller companies like myself? Again I look for customer loyalty, so I would certainly by some products from Lion's in the future. "”

“I like the bare wood frame mouldings a lot, they are great for what I need. The delivery was very quick which was great but there was one thing - the package seemed to be handled a bit roughly.. the wrapping was torn in multiple places. I haven't unpacked it completely to see if there is any damage to the actual moulding but hopefully it will be ok. It's not the first time this happened though.”

“I only have contact with the staff at Lion when I phone-in an order or collect my order and, with only one exception, I can't praise them enough. They are always friendly and helpful. I am a professional artist and do my own framing as well as for some fellow artists, so I don't order large quantities of materials. I have been purchasing from Lion since 2005 and will continue to do so although management decisions over the last few years are making it more difficult for me. Closing on Saturdays, stopping customers selecting their own moulding ( I had to return some last week) and now cancelling the free local delivery option. I don't have a vehicle to collect large glass so I now have to use one of your competitors.”

“Ordered a packet of A2 printing paper; delivery was quicker than forecast, which is very good. A real effort was made in the packaging, wrapping the packet in over-sized cardboard. The paper arrived in almost perfect condition. Unfortunately, the carrier managed to mishandle the package slightly, so there was very slight bending to one corner. I will not return the goods however, they are useable. A good attempt!”

“The order was correct but one of the two glue pots was not properly sealed and leaked in transit. Fortunately it was wrapped in bubble pack so the glue did not get onto the other contents.”
