“-I like the new single min spend. - quality mostly good - excelleny frame choice - quick turnaround - easy to order through web - custmer service excellent Note: - Occasionally I find that the quality/consistency of certain mouldings compaired to sample chevrons is lower - I do feel some of the mouldings are overpriced”

“My request for sample chevrons was dealt with on the phone by a member of staff very courteously, and the goods arrived, securely packed, within three days. This free service makes it so much easier to decide about the right frame for my paintings.”

“Both telephone staff and staff at Lion Birmingham are always very polite and helpful. If there is a problem with any of the mouldings, they are always happy to refund or replace. Samples are sent out promptly and customer service is very good. My only complaint is that some of the mouldings are damaged or warped. I recently bought 2 lengths of L1407 which each had a fault in - for which I was reimbursed. At the same time, I bought two lengths of L1647, one of which was incredibly warped. I have had to go ahead and make the frame but, because of one very warped side, have experienced big problems cutting the glass to fit. I think the natural woods, particularly the ash, need thorough checking before purchasing.”

“This is my third review for Lionpic - the first two highlighted the very many good points but this one unfortunately blighted the copybook. Delivery is always a problem for the north east of Scotland (strangely enough not in the other direction) but when a three day delivery turns into six - not good enough. Hopefully this was a "one off' but enough to knock one star off the rating on this occasion”

“LION PFS would have scored very happy but for the first time ever (this week) they failed to fulfil a next day delivery This left me without stock for a Christmas Fair and I lost valuable sales. However, over the years I have been a customer they have always provided excellent service.”
