“I ordered a picture hanging pack. The man I placed the order with omitted to send the wall fittings, even though I asked how I would affix the rails to the wall. He implied that I could put screws directly through the metal wall fitting. Thus the pack was useless, which I needed by June 10th, and the wall fittings came yesterday which was too late. I'm pretty angry!”

“I have been a costumer of Lion for the last 20 years and have always received great service from them but recently I ordered so moldings and found after I removed the gauze wrap that one of the lengths was split and unusable (manufacture fault) which left me unable to finish a short notice job. I rang Lion and they dispatch a replacement length immediate which arrived in time for me to complete the job. I can only express my thanks for service above and beyond normal costumer service. “I thought I'd try the chop service and I have to say that I am delighted - both with the speed of service (order on Friday / delivered on Tuesday)and the quality of the cut. Joints are crisp and precise, much better than I have had before.”

“Had there been a star rating which stated excellent I would have selected it. I requested some 200mm samples of mouldings costing 10p/£1 each and received an email in response to inform me that they no longer did the samples but would gladly send me some chevrons of the samples I wanted. I was delighted on opening the boxes by the quality and display possibilities of the contents. My thanks and I can assure you that all my mouldings will be purchased from Lion in the future.”

“Lion is a great company to deal with, always friendly, responsive and quick to resolve any issues, not that there are many. The website is superb, it is so easy to order what I need. As a small picture framer's I really appreciate visit from the sales rep, especially as mine is an ex-framer. I'm not so sure about the speed with which Lion are starting to discontinue moulding.I'm encouraged to stock new mouldings, I promote them to my customers who often come back wanting the same to match, only to find that Lion no longer stock that new moulding. It makes me nervous about trying new mouldings - I would say that they need to stick around for a minimum of five years, my customers have long memories and short pockets. And the only other comment concerns the quality of moulding dispatched, both the colour matching and the incidences of dents, faults, etc. It's becoming more frequent that the colour doesn't match the chevron you've supplied. More care is needed, your business relies on my small business, look after me please. Deborah, Framed New Mills Ltd”

“Service great however cost of delivery is high. Also one of the products leaves a lot to be desired. The mount board v cutter is poor quality. £32 and the blade tightener is poor.”
