“I got given a code that I was sending to my daughter in the USA. I had done business with them before without incident until we had a gift card code sent through that was a digit shorter than the others and didn't work. When I informed them they started asking for third party private information and refused to show whether the code was valid. In the end they were virtually accusing me of doing something dodgy when I was the person who lost money. I will never use this company again. Their attitude is appalling and there security so far over the top they even asked for a photo of my credit card after my bank had verified payment.”
“I want to warn about this company. I bought a code for Xbox Gamepass 12 months in november as a Christmas gift for my son. The codes provided did not work. It was a hassle to prove this to Livecards but after several emails and chat messages with their customer support i got money back for three out of four codes. Eventually i got money back for the fourth code. It sounded from them i should be happy for that. Now after several months i asked for a discount code for all the hassle and in return, i would buy the product again, hoping to get valid codes this time. They provided me with a 2% discount first, which was equal to about 2 USD. What i joke. After some argumenting back and forth they gave me a 5% discount code. Problem is that the price of the product has gone up with about 20 USD since i initially bought it, so i've ended up having to buy the same product three months later (the time it has taken to get the money back and trying to get a discount for a new purchase) for a much more expensive price. It's not my fault they provided me with non-working codes. I've never experienced such bad customer service anywhere before. Anywhere else they would probably just give me the product for free or at least 50% off as compensation to keep a happy, returning customer.”
“TOTAL SCAMMERS , I bought some codes for £90 in November to use on Xmas day and they didn’t work, I was in touch with them and Microsoft and proved that I hadn’t used them and they had been redeemed by others, I spent the whole of Xmas day goin back and forth with photos of accounts to prove I didn’t use them, yet they still won’t issue new ones or a refund, they’re scammers so beware”
“i bought my son ultimate games codes for Christmas day and they didnt work, i have proved to the company i havent used them on the account and they wont help, i have done everything they asked to prove i didnt use them , they have ripped me off and they dont care. avoid scammers”
“Compré una licencia Windows 10 pro, que no he podido instalar, después de haberme mareado con, prueba a hacer esto, prueba a hacer aquello. Pido que me devuelvan el dinero, y me dicen ¡¡¡que puedo intentarlo con otro PC !!!
Surrealista. Sin mas comentarios.”
“Scammers. They let you wait for for ages because of THEIR issues with their suppliers. Selling fake codes online to customers and not giving money back. Worthless company and even worse customer support. Wasted almost €1000 and so much time cuz of this company. Buy here if you like to gamble. Maybe you'll get what you want or maybe you lose money and time and get nothing.”
“Sent me a code for Amazon what was…
Sent me a code for Amazon what was already redeemed, looking to press legal action now , will be followed up by a paid whois search and a visit to the door for debt recovery
Update , they emailed asking for screen shots to resolve , I have sent these now there excuse is to tell me to contact Amazon
Excuse me but no you contact Amazon
I wish I had read the reviews on trust pilot before purchasing as I wouldn't have made the purchase
Stay well clear of this company they don't actually sell valid codes they just send out already used ones”
“FIRST I WANT TO SAY, DO NOT LISTEN TO THESE 5 STAR REVIEWS THEY ARE SCAMS. I have purchased something, and I have been left with over an hour of waiting for my key. Any websites would just instantly give it to you and send it within the next 5 minutes. Your bank automatically checks it and asks for confirmation that the app asks to confirm or reject. However livecards made me wait, and the assistant "help" named Anna, was extremely UNHELPFUL. I really wonder how people could do such things, I'm currently investigating all this with my bank and getting them to refund me, as well getting the company to give me a refund before it really goes bad. I now have been transferred to "order processes team" as stated by Anna, she said Just to add the next quoted message was
What is that suppose to mean? I believe nobody should buy from here and I learnt that I rather spend 10-30 more than on this horrible website which is really outrageous.
I recommend to anyone DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. Go to G2A, Eneba and CDKeys, the most trustworthy and definitely not scams, they'll help you, refund you and it's a 5 minutes or less to get your key. BE SAFE DO NOT USE LIVECARD.”
“I strongly advise potential buyers to explore alternative key sites to avoid falling victim. My experience with LiveCards has been nothing short of a scam, and I hope others can learn from my feedback.
I've had a very bad experience with LiveCards that has compelled me to share my story to caution potential buyers. I purchased an Elden Ring Deluxe Worldwide CD Key as advertised on their store page.
However, upon completing the purchase, I received an invoice stating that the key was only valid for EU activation. Being in the UK, I immediately recognized that this would not work with my Steam application. The key, when received 40 minutes later, proved to be unactivatable.
Seeking a resolution, I contacted LiveCards customer service for a refund. My interactions were primarily with Martin.S and Anna from their customer service team. They requested screenshots, including the key entry into the Steam redemption field, the associated error message, and details of my Steam account purchases.
Having promptly provided the requested information, including an additional screenshot of the misleading product advertisement on their webpage, LiveCards responded with a vague assurance: "Please give us at least 48-72 hours. Rest assured that we will email you after the given time."
After the specified time frame passed with no communication, I inquired about the status of my case. Their response was a disheartening: "We've initiated an inquiry with our supplier to resolve this issue and are awaiting their response."
ALMOST THREE WEEKS LATER, they claimed they had yet to receive a response from their supplier, leaving me in a frustrating and unresolved situation.
In an attempt to gain clarity, I called their customer service. When questioning the expected timeframe for their supplier's response, I was met with a dismissive "Sorry, we are unable to provide you with this information." As if it's some kind of company secret. My requests to speak with someone else knowledgeable about the matter were met with outright denial, leaving me without a refund and deeply disappointed with their service.
In summary, LiveCards not only falsely advertised their product to me, which I have evidence of before they updated their webpage, but also failed to respond within their promised timeframe, and it has now been nearly three weeks without them following up with their supplier to resolve this issue.
The uncooperative telephone assistant, coupled with the prolonged lack of resolution, has left me without a refund and deeply disappointed with their service.
Please avoid this company at all cost.”
