“I last reviewed this airport in June when the fast track lane was not open because the equipment was broken. 10 weeks later it is still not been fixed and even worse now you can’t even access the fast track after having gone through the first set of security because that’s broken too. You have to go back to the main desk and ask them to let you in. Absolutely ridiculous. Then once again bags being pushed for no apparent reason on one side and on the other scanner nothing being pushed. Wrong person dealing with eight pushed bags two people apparently dealing with one pushed back. When you complain, you are told to write into the airport and tell them what your views are. In my experience that is a complete waste of time. Nobody responds to reviews either as many businesses will. Perhaps they don’t read them that wouldn’t surprise me. management clearly has no concern for its customers who are basically treated like cattle. As I said in my last reviewthey are rapidly catching up Manchester for appalling service.”
“Brilliant staff throughout with a special mention to the Jet 2 check in ladies. They were very smart, incredibly friendly and hugely helpful. The rest of the airport staff were great too. Always a pleasure to fly from Liverpool.”
“I thought Manchester airport was awful, but Liverpool takes the biscuit. Chaotic security, an unwanted march through shop franchises, overwhelmed with vile package holidaymakers, filthy loos (too few), and only one water fountain (miles away). Hopeless; we'll avoid it in future.”
“I went through the scanner today at security and the guy said I was fine to go on and a girl then said she wanted to search me, I have never felt so uncomfortable as it was so intrusive, it’s not as if I was wearing a big jumper or wide trousers, no pat down but a complete feel of my whole body including around the inside of my waist band, yes I have a muffin top, it’s fat lol, won’t be flying through Liverpool again”

“Was told by the lady sorting the lines for security to stand there which I did my wife was then told to stand there right on top of some one which she refused I then watched the security girl then go to the security on baggage check and point out my wife twice so when it come to her turn she was made to take all her makeup out of the plastic bag so he could check it and her prescription medicine to make a example of her utter disgrace so beware worst airport experience ever and I don’t ever complain so please be aware”
“I was going through security and was told to move from my line into a scanner machine (this message was given to me through hand signals by the way) which I did and then I stood there like an idiot with my hands in the air and the security man was shouting at me but I couldn’t understand what he was saying (it’s very noisy there) and eventually another passenger said to me that there was actually a queue for the scanner. I would never push in on purpose but security man just waved me into the scanner so how was I supposed to know here was a queue? When I tried to apologise, he just glared at me and waved me through. I understand they are busy but that security man was downright rude and for that there is”
“The security staff at this airport get away with murder. They talk to you like a dog and when you tell them it's like being treated like a criminal they refuse to assist you. This happens everytime I go through the body scanner. One woman with short hair in her 60s working in this area shouted all over the place " I refuse to help or talk to this person" in a very verbally threatening way. I blame it on lacking skills for the job. Don't forget it's the passengers that pay your wages and you would not get away with it at any other outlet.”
“I get security is paramount however, is there any need to be obnoxious with people at the start of their holidays, today is 17 June 2024 4.30am the large security man took a dislike to my wife because her plastic bag was an inch too big so we decanted into my bag, I personally saw him advise other staff to slow us down intentionally, by double checking her bag and holding us up, but I get it when they earn 25 % of what we do, non the less he was disgusting, very tall with a beard. U will do my utmost to avoid this airport in future.”
“My wife and I have used liverpool airport for years and it's absolutely tremendous.

My wife has a wheelchair and the special assistance people are wonderful and so helpful.”

Charged to drop off, even if you don’t park up.
Want to use long stay? Prepare to remortgage your house/sell off your children if you haven’t pre-booked, which must be done several hours in advance.”
“The rudest people at security I've ever encountered anywhere in the world.
One lady seemed to think that the way to communicate was by simply by moving her head & sighing!
It's a lovely airport to transit through but these people spoil it completely”
