“I contacted so many people before Resorus and got nowhere. Most ignored me. Some made fake promises. But Resorus was different. They spoke with clarity and followed a structured plan. I was nervous, but they never let me feel alone. They updated me regularly and answered every question. Their dedication led to a full recovery. It was the first time I’d felt hopeful in months.”

“Warning to potential customers to avoid LMB Group Ltd at all costs! I have over 30 years’ experience working with contractors and builders, and I have never encountered anything so terribly managed in all aspects. In November 2021, we paid LMB Group Ltd £13,000 as a deposit for them to finish a Loft conversion project. It was due to start January 2022 and to be completed in around 9 weeks. The work did not start until June 2022, and they demanded £6,768.00 more before starting. By the end of 2022 we had paid LMB Group and their subcontractors over £64,000, but the work was never completed. The project management was non-existent. The communication was appalling, they ignored my phone calls and whenever there was an issue with their subcontractors, they passed the blame to others or even to me. The subcontractors hired by LMB Group were unskilled and incapable of performing satisfactory work. There were multiple mistakes and cover ups including: • The fireboard was not installed – this meant the work did not meet building control regulations. • Insulation in the bathroom was not installed. • The plumbers made numerous mistakes, like water from basin was running through the roof tiles. • The roofers left the ridge on the roof unscrewed and the rest unfinished. In January 2023 (one year after the 9 week project was supposed to start) the situation was so dire and stressful that we had to pay another company to finish the roof and install the fireboard so we could pass build control certificates. Despite communicating all these issues to LMB Group, we did not receive any compensation from the company or Mr Lee Murphy. We were only offered the money for the fireboard installation if we agreed not to write any negative reviews about the company. There are endless other issues I could raise, but in summary, avoid this company at all costs. They will take your money and cause more issues-it is a total scam.”

“Everything in this review can be verified with screenshots of WhatsApp conversations or emails. There is no speculation or hearsay in what I write. I'm not a competitor (as Lee Murphy tried to tell me all his bad reviews were!) I would not use this company again if they were the last building company on Earth! Between Lee (Co. director) and Dave (project manager), I have never encountered 2 people that were greedier, lied more or were less interested in the job they were contracted to do It was a 12 week build that took 18 weeks. It would have taken considerably longer had my wife and I not completely driven the project! LMB do not employ tradesmen, they employ subcontractors. When you employ LMB they are effectively project managing your job (or not, for us) The financial structure is that we paid LMB a deposit (in our case c. £12k), then a 'pre start payment' (in our case c. 4k). They then told us to pay all tradesmen directly Doing it this way means that they take all of their money up front, and therefore have NO INCENTIVE TO FINISH THE JOB! We were set up on a WhatsApp group with all of the tradesmen that would complete the build. In principle this was great but in practice the communication was atrocious. Tradesmen would turn up adhoc and almost never gave any notice (following the instruction of LMB). Both my wife and I work full time so this caused no end of issues Every week we asked for a schedule of works so we could arrange to have someone home when tradesmen arrived. LMB absolutely refused to give us one. In fact the project manager was defensive and rude in regards to this, I quote: 'Paul, you know the schedule of works is done on a Friday'. We never had a schedule of works. Ever. Let alone on a Friday. Every time we asked for a schedule we were told 'don't worry, we're ahead of schedule!'. Then they went 6 weeks over In the end my wife and I had to take shifts staying at home on the off chance that a tradesman would arrive unannounced Mostly the tradesmens work was of a good standard (except for the roofer and carpenter). The 2 guys that actually built my dormer were fantastic. If it wasn't for them the project would have completely fallen apart. They ended up finishing the carpentry and snagging too The carpenter took 5 weeks to do 5 days worth of work, then disappeared! I contacted him (as I had to do with all of the tradesmen - Dave rarely did it) and he told me he had hurt his back. That was the last I heard from him The roof was ridiculous. It was put on and I was then told by Dave I should make payment, despite no inspection. I then climbed the scaffolding to inspect it (it was behind awning). The ridge line was bowed, tiles were put on crooked, no clips were screwed down, no lead over the windows - it was an appalling job. I had to call the roofer back 4 TIMES before it was correct Dave the project manager was beyond terrible. He checked ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! He was incompetent, rude, unreliable and generally terrible at his job but reluctantly I had to remain civilised. If I even attempted to push a point he would instantly get defensive and condescending, and all communication would stop again so nothing would get done. On one occasion he actually said 'Paul, you're not my only client you know'. He also repeatedly threw Lee under the bus, telling me how Lee constantly messed jobs up and he had to correct Lee's errors I had to get an independent builder in to assess the build. When the issues they found (such as no sealing around the windows and no seal around the soil pipe to name a few) were bought to LMB's attention, they resolved them. Sounds reasonable, but LMB hadn't picked up on them. Had I not PAID an independent builder, they would never have got done, and the issues that would have resulted would be expensive and inconvenient to repair Lee lied, stalled, tried to take money where it wasn't due (he's obsessed with money), refused to communicate, refused to give us any kind of schedule of works, ignored messages, was rude and absolutely refused to take any responsibility for any wrongdoing. And that's barely scratching the surface Any time money was owed, Lee was absolutely, utterly relentless asking for it. He would ask repeatedly, over phone call, by message and email until the funds were transferred. It bordered on threatening. We made payments timely always, so this was surprising and unnecessary If they are did this to us, I can only imagine how other clients are being treated. I struggle to believe a single positive review about them”

“We were sold on LMB from the start with a great brochure and marketing material and a visit and chat directly from Lee to build our loft conversion. The price was competitive and there were no hidden costs which was something we were initially concerned about when embarking on the project. The builders themselves were an pleasure to have in the house, despite lockdown and home schooling. They built the loft to a high standard and were clearly very experienced and were able to use their experience to help provide us with advice on the design and layout. The other tradesmen (Plumber, electrician, tiler, carpenter) all did their job to a good standard and tidied and hoovered up every night before leaving. We had some issues with a leak as a result of not choosing to have a tin hat but Lee rectified the damage. We have had our loft space now for a few months and are delighted with the space. It is light and airy and the en suite bathroom is like stepping into a hotel bathroom every day. We did have a few issues with the guttering post build but Lee and the team were able to resolve these issues and LMB also provide a 12 month guarantee as well on structural work. The office are friendly and helpful too! Thanks LMB!”

“From start to finish Fantastic . I had LMB over to quote and advise me on my loft conversation and they went through every step in detail in regards to what I wanted and them advising me what is the best and most cost effective way of doing it. The quote was extremely detailed no hidden costs. We agreed for LMB to start as soon as they had availability. We was a little nervous when we agreed but They made every step stress free and was informing us step by step on our project. We have two young children and was worrying the building works would affect. But the highly skilled team of guys made everything run very smoothly everyday the house was spotless and everything was kept tidy. Which as a family we was extremely grateful for. “We are over the moon with our new loft conversion! From the start, LMB provided a highly professional and efficient service. Lee’s communication, the support from the office and architect’s plans all exceeded our expectations from the get-go, and that set the tone for the rest of the project really. The speed at which the main structure went up was so impressive. There are many other trades that came in to work at different stages of the project lifecycle, and they were all well organised. The quality of the workmanship of the vast majority of these trades (particularly the roofers, tilers and carpenter) has been brilliant and it’s allowed us to achieve the finish that we wanted. The loft space is a wonderful addition to our home. So if you’re also thinking of taking the roof off your house to create some extra room, we’d definitely recommend LMB!”

“Hired Lee 5 years ago for our roof extension. We were very pleased with the work. Took a bit longer than expected but this was due to summer holidays and staff taking time off. Quality of the work was very good. Team did a nice tidying up of the site after each day which was great.”

“My wife and I had decided to move house for an additional bedroom but this would have cost us up to £100k Several work colleagues were having their lofts converted at the same time with LMB and we gathered their views and were impressed by what we heard. LMB was contacted and the MD himself -a very affable gentleman (lee) came to view our property and gave us good input and very good ideas whereupon we were sold to having our loft converted. The Surveyor/Architect came around and after several drawings submitted we were able to get to a position of our liking and comfort with all our requests acommodated from the position of the stairs to having a Pea bath fitted like no others! The results have been fantastic. Our Victorian end of Terrace has been completed to our basic requests with proffessionalism great workmanship care and cleanliness meeting our needs all the way with a fraction of the cost of moving home.”

“LMB have recently completed a loft extension within a 10 week programme. We had a couple of meetings and several cups of coffee with Lee during September as part of our evaluation and tender process. Lee was extremely professional and provided some sound advice which other parties never mentioned. We had a strong sense that LMB were the right company to award the contract. LMB were not the cheapest but as the saying goes " you pays your money and takes your choice". Big ask for LMB, pre contract we requested the keys be handed over by the 20th December. Lee gave us the assurance that he could make the completion date and basically we proceeded to contract. Once initial fees were exchanged the programme went into build mode during October. All of the LMB resources working on the project were extremely professional, arrived each day on time and cleaned up at the end of the day. 3 months post build the quality of the build is amazing and citing complementary comments from friends and family viewing the extension. We would highly recommended LMB to other parties "no problem". Very well managed project and built to a high standard, Thank you Lee and LMB Team. Mike and Carlotta”

“Professional from my first enquiry to the office right the way through to the end of the hand over. Quick, efficient, clean, courteous and most importantly the quality is outstanding. Every trades person that came to my home put in 100%. Also I have to say what was really great was the constant communication between all of us, myself and my wife felt in the loop and included at all times due to Lee setting up a Whatsapp Group - it was a great idea! LMB Group really do know their stuff. I highly recommend!”
