Absolute brilliant service by Lock Doctor this morning. They had to go above and beyond for us in the end to sort a chub lock which was not working properly. They sorted it and so saved us expense. Would definitely recommend Lock Doctor to everyone.

I was aggressively tailgated by one of your drivers near Kilcullen on Monday despite the fact that I was not driving slowly. If you employ dickheads like that I would not be in a hurry to use your services.

They fitted a lock on a side door to my premises. The original one lasted 27 years so as a precaution I replaced it with a new lock supplied and fitted by these cowboys. It lasted 6 months. I now cannot open the door without breaking it as the lock will not open. I called lock doctor. They are denying fitting it so they said it was now my problem. I have a reputable company calling on Monday to sort it for me. Thank you mr lock doctor. Your service is pathetic and your goods are pathetic.

Lock door made my Nissan rogue keys ..no brakes on those keys even though I'm a senior disabled and caught off guard two days before Xmas week with out mercy my car got robbed .no mercy fine got together 300$ drove off as the keys were. Handed to me after he made some adjustments the key started the car didn't think I would have to try the door again ..boom the key picks and chooses when it wants to open the door maybe even 7 or 8 xs then it opens .lock doc is meeting me tomorrow to see if it's the battery he said well it's an aftermaket key fab soi asked who cares what market it's from I paid full price for a set of keys that work so how would I know what the difference is unless you told me and why wouldn't you tell me in there was no guarantee if I pay the $300.the same 300$ I didn't have same money I could have spent on 8 grandkids the money I saved up by running out of gas in my motor home and ran out of gas in and had to walk all the way to Hayden running out of gas parking on the side of the road my motor home got towed and now is impounded for $500 thanks a lot doctor to be continued tomorrow to see what happens with the battery

Lost our only car keys in Tesco's Tramore, the Lock Doctor came out got us a new key so we were up and running again and only then asked for payment he also said if we find the old original key that we lost he'd regenerate it for free which he did, when we were told by management in Tesco's that they had found it the next day , all this happened around 8.30 at night on a Sunday took about an hour thirty minutes it cost a bit of money but it was our fault, fully recommend this company very quick and professional in an emergency case ,

Just had the worst experience with this local Irish business. Why I needed help - I was locked out of my room since I lost my wallet, mobile as well as keys in the Shannon river. I called the so called "Emergency locksmith" and the guy took all my information and then said, we need a upfront x euros card only payment before we can drive out. I told him, that all my things were lost and I had a backup phone in my room that I can use after it is unlocked. (Logical statement). The reply I got was, we cannot drive out without the payment, and the guy had the audacity to give me his personal mobile in case I have a card. So basically he is asking me to provide someone's card to him. LOL!! I know it sounds so illogical but yeah that's what he said. Basically he doesn't trust me that I will pay him later in my house, but he wants me to give him someone's card details for free. What happened in the shop - Well I though that this has to be a mistake so I went to the shop to confront the owner and report my experience. I just asked, I need to talk to someone that can represent the business. A guy came, and asked me what was the problem. Firstly, there wasn't a single staff wearing their ID batches in the so called business. When I asked the name of the guy, he refused to tell me the same. I mean how can you refuse to tell your name in your own shop when you are representing your business. Well, I asked him that if I wanted to call a emergency locksmith, than you have the policy that I have to pay x euros upfront. He first refused to accept that but later he said himself the statement. So now, I was trying to ask him some logical questions like 1. If a person is locked out of his house how is he suppose to pay the upfront cost. 2. If someone has locked himself out of his car, with all the stuff inside, would you not help him. Now these are logical business questions that anyone should answer without judging the person. Right? He was like, can I get your details, when did you call, where do you live? Excuse me - Where do I live, what do you mean? How is that relevant to your question? Anyways, I told him limerick, and he was like where about's in limerick? I was like, do you want to come and have a coffee with me or what? But this is not the best part. The best part is, for all of my questions, his response was, I feel threatened. Q - What is your policy? A - I feel threatened Q What will you do in the above situation? A - I feel threatened I mean, I am not even in my early 30's and that guy was in his maybe 40's and I threatened him by asking logical questions. LOL!! Well, after he refused to answer any of my questions, I actually told him what happened, and he was like now your door is open, right? (I called another locksmith this morning) I was like what? He was like, if your door is open, why are you here? I was like, to report my bad feedback? His attitude was like, we don't care about your bad experience as you can identify by his attitude towards his customer. Ok, so finally he accepted that it was in their policy to have upfront x euros before they can drive out. This was conditional, but they are applying conditions after listening to this scenario also. The person told me that, they were careful after multiple people didn't pay them. Ok, that's fair, but after listening to my situation, they think I am in their category. Also, I asked him, you don't trust your customer, I mean if the customer trusts you to enter their home, you should be decent enough to trust them to pay the money. The best reply I have ever heard - We don't do our business by trust. LOL!!! Please read some business books, before you actually start a business. Trust is the root of business. Lastly, when I asked him, which review service you use, his reply was, wait for it - I don't like to be threatened with reviews. Can someone please tell me how you can threaten someone with reviews.... So yeah, worst shop ever, worst owner ever, and I mean I actively support local Irish businesses, but this is not what I would invest my money in.

Had to get a new fob recently €200. Key fell out but I saw it on the ground, cover still on ! But not properly closed. I happened to have the spare key from original fob and put if in my bag as a precaution. Fast forward to having car serviced. Mechanic felt fob light and checked. No key. Returned to lock doctor limerick where I was told it couldn't have fallen out with cover on. Wasn't believed when I said it did. I have now taped the cover so it doesn't loosen again and lose another key. I honestly believe the fob is poor quality and cover faulty after paying 200. It's frustrating and disheartening not to be believed

Went to Lock Doctor in Limerick today to buy a fob for my daughters car which was damaged and in a different county so i didn't have key with me.. they had the fob in stock (it's a plastic covering so no electrics etc you just swap them over) but wouldn't sell it to me...I asked why? He said he had to repair it ...you can buy it on line on ebay if u want, we dont sell them...obviously not enough money for him in selling product? I could have fixed it myself in 5mins if he sold me the product... Crazy set up makes no since....... Very disappointing...

Flawless, timely service delivered with great sense of humour. My son lost the keys to MY car at Electric Picnic, I thought I was going to have to take a day off work & hire a car in order to go up & collect him but Colm was there within half an hour and was able to reproduce a key on the spot. A huge weight off my shoulder 🙏🏻

Charged me 180 euro. Lost the keys. Returned to fix it again. Was promised they would come back to fix the top lock as they only fixed the bottom one at the time. Now they refuse. I have a dodgy door that is UNSAFE with only one lock working which doesn't even shut tightly! Absolutely robbery and bad attitude I will definitely be taking the matter further.

Lock Doctor stole $8,160 from Highland Lock and Key in referrals over a 6 year period. They got so bold they claimed to have completed 8 jobs on 82 referrals in 3 months. Under closer scrutiny it turns out they were completing 42 jobs in 3 months not 8. These so called Christians told me they were praying while I was on Hospice. Now I have requested my money and they accused me of suffering from fantasies. They overcharge and lie to their customers as I have been called back to jobs I referred to them to finish work they were paid for. They also tried to steal my customers but failed due to incompetence. Hire someone else, they are crooks.

I had Limerick lockdoctor out to repair my front door lock. They did the job fine. The job they did failed after 6 months. I called them out again. They did the job fine but charged 140euro. They charged me for repairing the work they failed to do properly the first time.

Their customer service is as bad as their actual service. I lost one of my car keys and, via my insurance company, they sent out Lock Doctor to make a new key for me. After they spent a couple of hours at the electrics under the bonnet and the steering wheel off hacking the system to programme the new key (which I have found out since was not necessary to do) the alternator was damaged. It resulted in me not having a car for a week and a 290 euro bill to fix it. After calling them they did not want to know about it and insisted they could not of done that and it was some kind of coincidence, and was told to go and complain to the insurance company instead. I have since found out that it is possible to damage the regulator on the alternator with the kind of unnecessary work they were doing. In short, avoid them if you don't want shoddy work and a company who duck their responsibilities.
